Fantastic server and hostess and they appeared to be short-staffed. food was above average but very slightly lower quality than i remember in the past. still going to go to the thanksgiving buffet which is fabulous!
We had the best waitress ever! She made us feel so well tsken careof-went sbove snd beyond inher serving us.
I always have a remarkable experience with Tina and her staff. The food is great and my guests always enjoy themselves.
The chicken honey ginger salad was amazing. Would definitely get again. Very attentive service.
Didn't know this restaurant was no longer a sister company to the one in Dublin. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great with suggestions from our server and good attention for our party. However, we didn't care for the flavor profiles of any of the food dishes except one of the appetizers and one entree. While the quality of food was good the flavors were severely lacking. In the words of my 6yo, “The broccoli tastes like medicine”. Haha! Everything was so under-seasoned (including the broccoli). While I'm happy we tried this place, we won't be back.
We just loved everything !! Food, service, accommodating our desire to dine outdoors was all just what we needed !!
This is a really nice place for intimate celebrations.

J. Liu's is one of our go-to places when we meet friends from Westerville. It's our 1/2 way place. There are many other dining options on Rt. 23, but we stay with J. Liu's. You can't beat the food and service, and they always make you feel like one of the family.
It has been a week now and I still have not forgotten how rudely we were treated by the hostess from the time we came in until she seated us on the patio. But thankfully her rudeness was redeemed by our server.
I hope the next time and if we ever go back the hostess will be more pleasant.

We joined friends for a 6:30 dinner reservation. Unfortunately, both the host and our server treated us with noticeable rudeness and condescension throughout the evening. The food was mediocre. Despite the poor service, we managed to enjoy each other's company until the restaurant manager approached our table at 8:30, informing us they were closing early (on a Saturday?) and requesting that we leave. This is not the first time we've had a bad experience. I'm not going for a third.

We had lunch with a guest from out of town. The service was attentive, well paced, and our server, Jojo, was very affable. Food, as always, was delish.
The J Liu Restaurant has been around for 20 years and it is highly regarded for its good food, service and environment. I ordered the poke bowl and was surprised at how good it tasted! Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

J. Liu is a wonderful place to go for a nice meal with friends. My friends and I went to celebrate two friends birthdays. We had a blast and they did not need to give us desserts, but it was a wonderful surprise!!
Enjoyed the lettuce wraps and egg roll appetizer, Mongolian Beef and Pad Thai entree size portions large and tasty. Excellent service, will be back
