My family and I have used Mrs. Goodmans for 20+ years. Won’t be returning. I will piggy back on the other one star reviews left here. It’s not the same since switching ownership. Prices have majorly jumped, quality is worse - cakes are dry. Customer service is gone. Bakery staff seem flustered and rushed. Gave me a hard time about cake ordering. Why would someone want to be a patron when your staff isn’t even friendly? I found another shop that can help me with a smile on their face. Mrs Goodmans has lost a corporate and personal account with their negative staff (on multiple occasions) and unhelpful attitudes. Have someone new answer your phones and help customers.

Their scones are so delicious with a melt in your mouth texture. These are crave worthy for sure. Their cakes and beautiful and delicious. Love this bakery. Never disappoints.

I ordered a cake for my 20th birthday party and not only were the prices fair, the baker did FANTASTIC making my heart shaped, black and red cake. When I went to pick it up I almost cried because of how gorgeous it is and I almost didn’t want to cut into it (it was delicious tho) Thank you SO much.

A friend brought a cheesecake for a dinner party and it was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had in my entire life!! The caramel topping available is uniquely delicious as well but truly the cheesecake can stand on its own merits. It is perfect!

We’ve ordered two cakes and a dozen cupcakes from Mrs. Goodmans in the past two months. It was so easy to order custom cakes online, and out of the inspiration pics I sent they nailed it! The cakes are so fresh and last a while in the fridge. All of our guests commented on how great the cake looked, how fresh it was, and how great it tastes. I highly recommend this place for your next occasion!

Mrs Goodman’s did a wonderful job with my book cake!! I wanted it to simply be my book cover, yet taste delicious. Every step was made easy from ordering the cake to picking it up. And yes, it was absolutely delicious! We went with an almond sheet cake with buttercream frosting. 😋 Everyone loved it.

Mrs. Goodman’s has been our go-to bakery since 2013, when we ordered our fantastic wedding cake. Since then, we’ve ordered countless birthday cakes and anniversary cakes, as well as purchased cupcakes, cookies, and scones. All have been delicious, and their cakes always get rave reviews from our family and friends. Their pecan bars are a new favorite.
Their service is also top-notch. I forgot to place a Thanksgiving order, and after calling in, they told me to come in since they still had plenty in stock. I was able to quickly get a pie and they were so pleasant at an exceptionally busy time. We love Mrs. Goodman’s!
First visit today, but not our last! The selection of cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies and breakfast treats were astounding. We tried two cookies and two scones today. Haven't ate the cookies yet. The scones were moist and flavorful. We'll definitely be back soon for more sweet treats!

My in laws have ordered Mrs. Goodman's for many years (bought a daughter's wedding cake there in '02). They agree with the 2 other posts on here that something has changed since back then. Bought a cake this week and said it was dry and had a funny taste. But my mother in law had their almond raspberry at a friend's house and said it was delicious. I wonder why the inconsistency?

They will do everything in their power to satisfy your needs. The signature buttercream frosting is unmatched by any bakery in the area and will keep you coming back time and time again! This is a perfect spot for specialty cakes for any event or just if you need a sweet treat to get you through the day.
Some of the prettiest decorated cakes and cookies I've ever seen. Try the caramel filled cupcakes! They're the best cupcake in Columbus. I can't say enough nice things about the customer service! These people really care about the customers, and it shows.

I know ownership changed a few years ago, but I sure miss the old owners. I was treated incredibly rudely today and I will never ever purchase anything there again. Not to mention the cakes aren’t even good anymore, they’re super dry. Do yourself a favor find a new baker.
