We ate at Ye Olde Tavern in early August. We sat outside and it was pretty warm, but we had a great experience with our food and service. I had the turkey Reuben. The turkey looked like it was roasted turkey breast and they chopped it and mixed it in with what I’m assuming was homemade sauerkraut. this was a delicious way to make a Reuben! Wow. Delicious German favorites served in a historic building. I had a Reuben made with a Bratwurst which was delicious. They also have a more traditional Reuben called The Hafner. Warm German potato salad was excellent and the cole slaw was creamy and vinegar based which was a tasty surprise. The warm pretzels sticks with bier cheese were the softest I've ever had. You won't be disappointed! Our server, Ellen, was so accommodating and gracious. We will be back!
Okay so this is a bit of a ghost story. I had no idea about the restaurants history what so ever I just remember I sat down with two friends I had a great server and amazing food however, I started to get hot like insanely hot and I smelled smoke.
