Captain Fish & Chicken offers tasty and fresh food, with popular choices being the Philly cheese steak combo and wings. This place is described as a little taste of the south, where customers can find homemade banana pudding and many drink options. While there may be a wait for the food, which is about 15 minutes, the delicious meals make up for it. Customers can easily get a meal for $10 or under, and some have enjoyed two different kinds of fish and onion rings. The staff is friendly and helpful, contributing to a positive experience. Many visitors praise the whole wings for being fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly, with crispy fries that have a nice house seasoning. Service is polite and accurate, making it a good choice for groups or those looking for large portions at good prices. Although there is no dine-in option, the restaurant is a convenient spot for takeout. The inside is simple and a bit outdated, but it is clean and not dirty. The fish sandwich with cod is often recommended, and customers enjoy that the food is always made to order, ensuring freshness. Some mention that the sandwiches could be slightly bigger or priced a little lower, but overall, it remains a popular spot for tasty fish and chicken meals. Captain Fish & Chicken is a must-visit for those seeking great food to go.
