I recently visited Tlaquepaque Mexican Food in Zanesville. To start, I ordered the queso fundido with chorizo, but it was disappointing. The cheese was very runny and reminded me more of melted American cheese than traditional queso fundido.
For my main course, I had the carne asada with grilled jalapeños (chiles toreados), and that was much better. The steak was flavorful, cooked well, and the peppers were a great addition. While the appetizer missed the mark for me, the main dish helped make the visit worthwhile. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement.

Great space with tables for large groups. Service with a smile and good refills. Food wasn't quite as flavorful as some other spots in other towns but for Zanesville's limited spot it was great. The broccoli in the fajitas was surprisingly good. Salsa isn't too spicy. Great patio area though we didn't eat on that area.

The worst service 2 people couldn't get the order right? And if I'm going to spend over $120 you want what you pay for? Not what they want to give you. They know how to mess up a birthday dinner

How have I not reviewed this restaurant yet? It's my favorite Mexican place to eat in Zanesville. Food is good. Drinks are great, service was excellent!
