Our server was wonderful! The atmosphere is nice. I'm not a fan of them placing paper, resembling a hospital bed cover, over a nice black tablecloth. The food was really good. All in all, it was a great experience.

The food was delicious last time we ate at Fireside Grill. This time it was not. The prime rib was mediocre at best and my filet was over cooked. Then our side was still cold. So the waitress took them back and about 10 minutes later brought 2 more. By then our steaks were mostly eaten because we didn’t want them to get cold, while waiting. The stuffed mushrooms we ordered were drowned in butter. It seems nothing was good. We won’t be going back. Very disappointed. And we had a loud mouth couple next to us!!! I normally don’t gripe!

The food is great. The waitress was sweet. There was no background music so it's just everyone talking around you. A little distracting, but the food is worth it.

One of my FAVORITE places to eat! The servers were very attentive and friendly. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary there last night and the food could not have been better! They start you off with a delicious SALAD and we both ordered SALMON and I had the POTATO CASSEROLE and my hubs had a BAKED POTATO and the SALMON was grilled to perfection and the potatoes were hot and so tasty! Now for the ending, we ordered their delectable amazing PEANUT BUTTER PIE to go and it has to be one of my all time favorite desserts! This restaurant is very close to Lake Murray so it makes the perfect date! Highly recommend FIRESIDE DINING!

This was our first time in. The atmosphere and the service were nice. However, there were a few issues that make me inclined not to return for a second visit. The water had a strong metallic/chemical taste that made it almost undrinkable. The bread basket that came to the table had these hard pieces of bread absolutely sopping with oil which was not particularly appetizing. My main issue with our experience is that I was charged nearly $30 for four slightly overcooked pieces of shrimp. My husband joked that it must be a steak house, not a shrimp house. The sauce the four pieces of shrimp came in had a good flavor, but dipping the bread at the table into the sauce would not be a good idea as it would be dipping sopped oily bread into even more oil. My husband's prime rib was a positive experience for him. We did not order appetizers, drinks, or dessert and it was almost $100 for the two of us. This seems high for me leaving slightly hungry.
