About Hamburger Inn

Hamburger Inn is a small, retro-style diner with a cozy atmosphere and a reputation for excellent service. Originally opening in 1938 and moving across the street in 1956, the restaurant features fantastic mid-century modern architecture and decor. The food offerings include hearty portions, such as their filling pancakes and generously sized hamburgers. Notable menu items are their old-fashioned hamburger with grilled onions and the delicious onion rings. Breakfast is great, and everything is fresh and cooked to order, making it worth the wait. For a complete meal, guests often enjoy their tasty fries, satisfying chocolate pie, and fresh-baked pies. The diner is known for its outstanding simple Onion Burgers with fried onions, cheese, mustard, and pickles, which are highly recommended. Although seating is limited and there is no on-site parking, a nearby lot makes visiting convenient. The atmosphere is small and classic, perfect for breakfast or lunch when in Ardmore. The owner, Elyssa, is youthful and bubbly, greeting customers with warmth and creating an inviting environment where families can enjoy a meal together. Visitors also appreciate the friendly service and the delicious, fresh-cut fries and handmade patties.

If you are looking for the quintessential American diner and coffee shop experience, Hamburger Inn nails it! Originally opening in 1938, the popular restaurant moved across the street in 1956 to a building decked out in fantastic mid-century modern architecture, decor and styling. Their reputation for great
classic burgers and amazing fresh-baked pies is well-known, and the food quality during my visit did not disappoint.
But the real story here is the owner, Elyssa. Youthful,...read full review
