We enjoyed a nice lunch at Jackson's. My husband and I both enjoyed the chicken fried steak. It was hand battered and had a great flavor. For the sides we each had mashed potatoes and gravy. I had corn and he had fried okra. The sides were good and the rolls were good as well. We will be back.
Grabbed food here when Reba's was way too busy. The building is beautiful and classy. Servers were great and helpful, even though the place was slammed from overflow traffic from across the street. We really enjoyed the sweet tea and got refills and to go beverages too. The food was not great though. Way too much use of microwaves going on in this place, we could see that clearly as we walked past the kitchen and it showed in the food quality.

First off walking in is breaking! A beautiful establishment with great food and amazing staff. Delicious homemade cooking served with an at home warm feeling! The history alone makes this place a must visit!! My husband and I highly recommend this place if your looking for a great morning spot!
