“We were recently in Hawaii for the 1st time and ate shave ice several times. We happened across Aloha Shave Ice & Coffee on the way out of Oklahoma City. We got shave ice island style which is a scoop of vanilla ice cream shave ice with flavored syrup and a snow cap in regular size; see pic. We had POG; passion fruit, orange, guava and one just passion fruit. Highly recommend island style but they also have shave ice 🍧 snow balls. We made a trip back when we were in OKC last week. They also have board games to play. It's a fun place!“

“Bruno's is a great place to have lunch, a snack or even desserts. They are consistent so you know what to expect every time you order your favorite or try something new. The owners & staff are friendly, courteous & always ready to prepare something from the al la Carte menu. The food is great, I also had them cater for a baby shower, everything was awesome. My family & friends enjoyed the food prepared and we actually did not have leftovers, that says a lot, nothing to tote home. (There may have been a few things left, but no one hesitated to make it to go.) They also have a star program, I like to use mine for takeout, and it helps if you happen forget your wallet. “Just wanted to give a shout out to the Stitch Cafe OKC. It’s going to sound strange to recommend a place I haven’t eaten at but the staff made my few minutes there so pleasant and accommodating that I can’t help but recommend their service. I’m a flight attendant only in town for about 12 hours or so and we leave at an unbelievable hour of 3:15 am tomorrow. I normally travel with my lunch bag but it wasn’t possible for this trip so I had to venture out to eat. It’s difficult to find unique items when you’re in a new city on a flight attendants budget. I wandered into Stitch Cafe and even though they were closing they wanted to accommodate me. That is very rare and I so appreciated the offer. I didn’t take them up on it and they had such a tempting unique menu. I was a waitress for 10 years and I simply couldn’t in my waitress mind take them up on their kind offer but they were so very nice. Specifically a young man whose name I did not get. I know I will visit here again and early to enjoy the food and atmosphere. Even as I made my way back to the hotel and they were breaking down their seating area a very kind young lady had a welcoming smile and the very nice gentleman even asked if I was able to find a meal, which I was able to. At any rate, I’m not a local I ventured here from Dallas, TX , but I highly recommend this pleasant environment for a nice experience and I’m sure delicious menu to select from.“

“I found this place through Doordash randomly and have been so impressed! I have tried three pasta dishes and they've all been so good. The chicken in them is so flavorful! My food has been to go each time so I can't speak on the in store experience but my food is always fast, fresh and warm including the baked goods! My only complaint if I'm absolutely being picky is my tortellini was a bit over cooked last time but sometimes that happens with to go pasta. very good food and I recommend!“

“Colors of Freedom Art Exhibit thru January 2025 consist of painting by Ukrainian children. I was told that the dog painting is of “Bullet”, a well-known bomb sniffing dog in the Ukraine. Bullet searches for bombs that have been hidden in destroyed buildings by the Russians who are hoping to kill more Ukrainians as they look for people and property. The painting of the two birds combines their beloved stork with our revered eagle and together we are saving democracy and the Ukrainian people. While there, we also saw the art installation of refugee camps called “Shelter” by Lisa Karrer. Included in the exhibits are interviews of displaced people fleeing violence and social and economic upheavals. I was very interested to read an interview of a Vietnamese who said their family does not say I Love You, they show it by asking if you are hungry and feeding you. Recently I picked up my dog at the local groomer (Soi) who is Vietnamese. We got to chatting and she said she makes big batches of egg rolls several times a year and makes some for her customers. She gave my husband and I several egg rolls to take home for dinner. We were honored and when I read the interview at the exhibit, it hit home about food and love. Art can touch our souls and help us take action to help others.“

“I’d never heard of this place, but I wanted to get lunch in the Gayborhood so I drove around and this was the first place I saw!
I was pleasantly surprised to find that it served German food! Plus, the decor is so colorful and vibrant, it put me in a better mood when I walked in.
I ordered a bratwurst burger, the German potato salad, and the soup of the day which was a potato & carrot soup, i believe. I don’t remember exactly what was on everything, but I remember how delicious everything was!!! I love it, I’ll be back anytime I want a quick bite!!“

“The food here at champions bbq is very good ! The service is excellent and very clean. During the fair there are many options to try and explore with reasonable prices as well, the brisket slider and pulled pork sliders are very tender with lots of flavor. The bbq sauce has a nice flavor as well. By far one of the best Mac n cheeses and potato salad in Oklahoma. So if you are at the fair, come on in and give it a try!

“It has been a long time since I have been here but its still just as good as I remember! I had the gyro plate and my bf had a breakfast scrambler. We both cleared our plates. 2 meals and 2 drinks and it didn't even come out to $25! The service was great. Our waitress was an absolute delight. I cant wait to come back.“

“Surprisingly great for a cafe attached to a gun range. Wasn't expecting much, but it smelled great so we figured we would give it a try. Got the breakfast/sunrise burger. I've had burgers with an egg and bacon on them before, but the addition of sausage on this one really took it up a notch. The food came directly off the grill to our table leaving both the burgers and sides piping hot. I'm usually not a big fan of fried potato rounds of this style, but between the seasoning, and being perfectly cooked they ended up being excellent.
