“Been living in the area for about eight years and just recently stopped in to try this great diner.We’ve visited twice now and have enjoyed both visits.The food is delicious and the staff is friendly!The owner stopped by our table on both visits and asked how everything was, shared the story of the restaurant and was very friendly!Our server was great! She actually remembered us on our second visit!My wife had the Reuben sandwich and I had a burger on our first visit. She said it was the best Reuben she’s ever had!On our second visit, she tried a chili dog and I had their “hog” dog. The “Hog Dog” is a bacon wrapped dog that is deep fried and served on a great bun!!Their fries are amazing and the onion rings don’t disappoint!The best way I can describe The Stray Dog is: it is EXACTLY the kind of Route 66 diner that you HOPE to find!Great food, great people and a great atmosphere!Whether you’re a local or just passing through on Route 66, The Stray Dog should definitely be on your list!Highly recommend!(Note: there is parking behind the building so if the spaces out front are taken, just cruise around back!)“

“My daughter and I had Blue dolphin for the first time today and wow it was amazing!! I had a create your own bowl with açaí on the bottom, vanilla granola then kiwi, strawberry, banana for the fruit with toasted coconut and chia on top! Yummy!! Only reason it's not 5 star was no customers were in store however staff was busy fulfilling online orders which was frustrating when we were in a hurry to pick up and go.“

“Currently out of town with my Hubby and we're looking for great coffee spots. Saw this one in a cute artsy like area and decided to give it a go.We both got lattes. I got Claritys seasonal 'Blood Orange' latte and hubby got a Carmel one. We got a cheddar & chive scone as well as a Blueberry & lemon one.The lattes were excellent. Great flavor, nice foam. Scones were tasty too but kinda wish we asked if they could be heated up. They would of been divine with some melted butter.The shop itself is very pretty and clean. Customer service was awesome, the two guys working there were very nice. Shop has a small but great menu with a case of baked goods, along with some vegan and glutten free options. They also have their own merch, fresh beans and more. Lots of parking outside.They little shopping center has a small housing development behind it. Very interesting layout, cool area all together.There's a little jungle gym for kids across the coffee shop too.Overall I know hubby will be back since he is work working here for a few months. “This is not a paid review, I'm simply a verbous bibliophile.The Full Circle bookstore by Pen Square mall is an amazing little bookstore. Upon entry, I immediatly exhale/inhale deeply. My lungs fill with the sweet nostalgia of bound paper. Tones of wood-smoke mingle with the aroma of ground coffee and the musky scent of bound paper. Bookshelves tall enough to need rolling create private nooks, without becoming a maze. “I walked here while I was waiting on my windows to get tinted. I was skeptical because this isn't exactly the best area but I was pleasantly surprised. The hubs and I went there for lunch today and I can’t stop thinking about the sweet potato fries/slices and the ever so flavorful and moist (yes, I said, moist!) chicken breast. I found out that the owner, Rachelle (aka Peachie), does most of the cooking, using family recipes passed down from generation to generation. “The Bee Healthy Cafe more than exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, but more than that it was filling and clean. I walked away totally satisfied, but I did not have an after meal slump. I felt renewed and ready to get back to the office. The service was great, it is clear the team wants to take care of its customers and no one is going to hurry you out the door. If you are looking for vegetarian options, they have them and they are delicious. Three items in particular stood out as exceptional 1) The black bean wrap, 2) the humus, and 3) you should definitely pick up a smoothie.“

“I decided to try Joey's Cafe because I noticed they had crab Louie eggs benedict on their menu. When I arrived about 11:00 a.m. the place was packed, and I could tell the hostess and wait staff were all working super hard to clean off the tables after the morning rush. The hostess cleaned off a table just for me and gave me a menu as soon as I walked in. My waiter arrived promptly and got my coffee order, and then he swung right back by and got my food order. They were a very well run machine this morning. My meal was absolutely perfection! The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hollandaise was wonderful. The crab cakes were cooked with a nice crunchy outside. I think this was probably the best brunch I've ever had in Oklahoma City. And that's saying a lot. I will definitely be back for more!“
“Came here twice several weeks ago for some breakfast good. They were nond enough to check the sausage for an allergen for me. I ordered my son a breakfast burrito that he enjoyed. I got a small scoop of eggs. I also ordered some of the chopped brisket to go so I could have later when I got hungry. That had an interesting texture, that didn't remember 100% meat. Can't really say though. I came back and got my child and his friend another breakfast on a different day and O got a bunch of bacon. The bacon was cooked to perfection.“
“Cashier is very sweet. Muffin was decent. Only complaint is the price I paid for the muffin. Didn’t get a receipt nor was told what the total was. Online prices don’t reflect the actual pricing because online a mega muffin is 1.85 or a crumb cake is $2. My bank statement says I paid over $4 for a small muffin. If I was told the total I would’ve been able to question the price but now I know for next time.“
“I am not sure about a coffee shop, but I loved the shaved ice. Had the recommended shaved ice drink (supposedly their most popular) and it was great. It was a combination of 3 flavors: peaches, strawberries, and a 3rd flavor. It was sweet, enough sugar for me the whole day.“
