“This is a cozy, counter service spot with delicious food. We had the beef kafta and chicken shawarma platters and a side of baba ganouj (sp?) with extra pita. Everything was tasty, but what made it all especially delicious was how fresh everything tasted. The chicken shawarma came with a garlic sauce, but the traditional tzatziki sauce with the beef dish was so good!“
“Had a good dinner at Gyros By Ali. Came in on a Tuesday night and the place was pretty empty. I ordered the chicken platter and a drink at the counter. Got my Pepsi at the fountain machine and placed it on a dining table. Used the bathroom and walked back to the table. Within a minute, the chicken platter was ready at the counter. Quick is an understatement to describe the wait time. The entree came with basmati rice, Greek salad, pita bread, and tzatziki sauce. Surprisingly, the pita bread was the standout. They were soft, warm, and fresh; the best pita bread. Everything else (chicken, basmati rice, Greek salad, tzatziki sauce) was okay to good. I liked the basmati rice at this place. The tzatziki sauce was on the creamier side, and I was really indifferent to it. I don't think Gyros by Ali have the best Mediterranean food. If you really want to know, it's not even close. What it has is VALUE. It has the cheapest Mediterranean food in town. The chicken platter was only $12.99. Their most expensive entree is only $13.99. For this reason alone, it gets an extra star. To me, price is equally as important as the food.“
“We've been looking for a good gyro lately, and this place fit the bill. The gyro meat was seasoned well, the pita bread was soft and tasty and the veggies were fresh. The fries were crispy and the seasoning was delicious. I wasn't a big fan of the hummus, it was a little sour for my taste, but that could just be my pallette. Definitely going to be a business on our too lazy to cook rotation.“
“The grilled organic chicken sub sandwich is perfectly seasoned and on the absolute best sub bread around! Definitely my favorite sandwich here!Other favorites are the cabbage rolls, hummus and pita bread. The taco salad is great too. I haven't had a chance to try very many items yet because I most always go for the grilled chicken sub. They do a ton of business during the lunch time with dine-in and carry-out and sometimes it's a 30 minute wait for your order, just FYI. Just know this going in and if you are in a big hurry then wait and go on a day when you have more time. Good tasty homemade food and nice owners.“
“The slaw is SPICY! I was not expecting that. The 5 cheese panini was great. I added the avocado and bacon. My husband had the mac n cheese wirh burnt ends. The ends were more like bits, not hefty like you might think ends would be. He said the mac n cheese had great flavor, but the pasta was overcooked and mushy. The atmosphere is good. Not too loud. They were busy even for a Wednesday. The service is great! I could have used a little more ice in my water. I do not drink, so I have no insight regarding the alcohol. I will go there again and I recommend you pay them a visit as well.“
“Excellent food, service could be better, one of the cleanest Mediterranean restaurant. Came in on a Monday night as a first timer. The restaurant wasn't too busy. Ordered at the counter for dine-in. Not sure if you pay after ordering or not, but I was able to get seated without paying. The male owner (I think) was at the counter this night. Not once did I see him smile when greeting customers. I started out with the beef and chicken combination platter. I can tell you immediately that Char Char has the most moist and soft piece of chicken and beef you'll find at a Mediterranean restaurant. The meats were savory to the taste, and melted in your mouth with each bite. The portion size was rather small and the price was a little steep compared to other Mediterranean restaurants, $25. For someone with a short stature like myself, I could really eat. I finished the beef and chicken combination platter in less than 15 minutes. The owner brought me a bill to my table and told me "You must be hungry." I replied, "Yes" and told him to "hold on" on the bill. I walked to the next table to ask a couple dining in that night whether they like their char broiled quarter chicken which they did. I went up to the counter and ordered the quarter dark chicken. The owner then said "But you have to pay first buddy." With everything that has transpired, I felt like he was afraid I wasn't going to pay. Again, this was what I "FELT" at the time which could just be me. I was not impressed by the char broiled chicken. The chicken was done well because the meats fall off the bones with each bite. It just lacked flavor. The BBQ sauce helped but it wasn't enough. The combination platter was simply superior in every aspect. Finished dining around 7:50 PM and the doors were locked. I don't really understand why not just close at 7:30 PM, instead of 8 PM. I would not be happy if I were to show up at 7:45 PM and couldn't get in. Putting all personal biases aside, I gave Char Char a 4/5 stars. A case could be made for 3.5 stars. The beef and combination platter was delicious. The price on the combination platters could be cheaper. The customer service could definitely be better.“
“This Cava location always has excellent customer service, food and selection. Even when they are busy they take great care of their customers. The harissa avocado bowl and lavender blueberry drink are my go-to and they are always fresh and delicious!“
“Warning! The Harissa bowl is spicy! The chicken is spicy, the feta is spicy, and the sauce/dressing is spicy! Prepare. Delicious, but know what you're ordering. Haha. The customer service is excellent. The staff was very kind and helped me select the correct bowl for me and my dietary needs. Yum!!!“
“It's fresh, it tastes great, and they have the best drinks at the fountain.I love eating here because I don't feel the idis (pronounced eyediss) when I'm done eating here, there's no horrific gas associated with the GMO fast food that is literally killing everyone and everything, and, and it's good the next day or two-three if you reheat it. The list goes on, and it's easy to go back several times and get burned out, so just take it in moderation, and enjoy until your CAVA pops off ;).“
“Cava itself has no complaints and neither does this location in Tulsa Hills. Every-time I go the staff is hospitable, friendly, and welcoming. Rex is absolutely amazing and sets the atmosphere with his smile when you walk in. Cava is 5 stars but this location and the staff are also 5 stars.“
“The service was excellent as we came in the door. One of the waitstaff greeted us and showed us the menu. One thing I noticed right away was the fresh flowers on the tables. We had to wait a bit for our food, but it was well worth it. We will go back. I ordered the shrimp dinner. It was spicy, and my husband ordered the lamb gyro. Also, desserts! My one disappointment was that restrooms ? were each 1 seater.Parking: Not much parking out front. But there was more on the side.“
“We tried Grill’d for the first time today and we are so glad we did. I had the chicken burger and my husband had the mushroom, Swiss burger. They were both cooked perfectly. We had a side of fries and tater tots as well and they were fantastic. Prices are great for what you get. We will definitely be back.“
