“Indoor patio area, very loud was not able to hear the people at our table. The server was very busy but was very kind and super patient. He understood the noise level was high and tried accommodating us for the noise. My son kept trying to hide under the table covering his ears and he doesn't normally do this. I had to help my son recenter a few times to help him cope through the noise. My son is not autistic. I would not recommend for autistic people for the noise pollution. Service was very good. Food was decent I enjoyed the spinach enchiladas. My family's first time here.“

Cobb salad had way too much dressing and it was already mixed in. the chicken or what they called chicken on it was inedible. beware they charge you $2 for each little cup of sauce with the garlic knots and 2.95 for each pizza ingredient. way over priced and bad quality. we'll stick with hideaway from now on.“

Rolls are at least 2” in diameter on the cross section almost too large to take in one bite - but that’s a good problem to have. Sushi chefs are very friendly, wait staff quick and attentive, with our rolls delivered within just 10 minutes from ordering. Impressed and will definitely be back.“

We made a reservation for 7 and our table wasn't quite ready by then but the hostess was really sweet and tried her best to offer us a different table but we didn't have to wait too long before our table became available. The restaurant is small so we totally understood. The service was great! Very sweet waitress, I wished she would've been at the table a little bit more but she had two large-ish parties close to us so again, very understandable. Food was AMAZING. “My friend has been urging me to come here for a long while, and I finally came 2 evening ago (so glad I did!) and had the autumn salad with balsamic, which was amazing. I’m back again tonight, and I’m having the fajita salad with jalapeño ranch. Both times I had with chicken and had great and fast service. Josie was patient and kind, answering all of my questions. I hope I can find one of these establishments closer to my home, in north Frisco or north Plano Texas. Would be great for a quick to grab lunch, especially when time is tight! Very generous portions. Lettuce and all ingredients were fresh and tasty and the dressings are great too! Note both pics were after I started in because they are so good! 🥗😋“

“For the most part hideaway is a good place to eat. But my visit last night was no so good. We set down ordered our drinks and appetizers. My wife had to remind our waiter to bring me my beer. He then took our pizza order. Our appetizers arrived warm not hot like they had been setting on the counter too long. We eat them and just thought they are a little busy, no harm. 20 min later our pizza was brought out. The crust was warm and the toppings were cold. We told our waiter and he went and got the manager who said do you want to box it up and take it home and warm it up? I told him no and he came back I will give it to you for free. I again said no I will pay for my beer, wife’s drink and raviolis. The manager would hardly make eye contact with my with and I and when he laid the bill on the table he said sorry as he walked off. The waiter wasn’t much better instead of playing games with the table behind us he should have been keeping a eye on our orders. I will continue to eat at hideaways just not the one on S. Memorial.“

The broccoli cheese soup was the 💣But, the meat was tough and fatty, took it back and the manager made me a new WHOLE sandwich of my choice (pastrami) with more chips! “Dear Andy’s Frozen Custard Team,

First off, I want to say that I love Andy’s and have been a loyal customer for years. However, I’ve recently had two experiences that left me deeply concerned — especially regarding food allergies.

On both visits, I ordered a Stolen Brownie Sundae with no cherry due to a cherry allergy. The first time, a cherry was placed on top. When I pointed it out, the team member attempted to scoop the cherry off and give it back to me. I had to explain that I’m allergic and that even traces can cause a reaction. Thankfully, she kindly remade the sundae.

Unfortunately, on my next visit, I again requested no cherry, but the sundae still had visible cherry juice on it. I informed the staff of my allergy and was asked to pull around. When a new sundae was brought out, the staff member who handed it to me seemed irritated, as though I were an inconvenience.

I’m sharing this because food allergies are serious and potentially life-threatening. Simply removing or scooping off allergens (like cherries or nuts) isn’t safe. Please make sure your team is properly trained on allergy protocols to avoid dangerous situations.

I love Andy’s and want to continue being a customer, but I hope this feedback leads to better training and awareness.“

“We love sushi. We can tell if the fish is fresh and high grade. Our dinner tonight was a disaster. First platter of sushi came to our table with black hair lying in the sauce. I returned my miso soup because it tasted like water. The sweet & sour soup wasn't much better. We ordered the Yellowfin Sashimi and the Spicy Ocean roll. Both were not good. The fish was not fresh. Bill was $85. What a waste of our hard earned money and date night. We will never return.“
