“I had heard about this restaurant long before I actually got to try it and let me tell you, it lived up to the hype. A quaint little cafe situated in downtown bixby with a laid back ambiance and delicious food! The restaurant was packed when we arrived (so I knew it was gonna be delicious) but the waitresses were kind and we got a table quickly. We sat, perused the menu and both got the chicken strip dinner. Service was fast and the food was 10/10. If you're in the area you HAVE to try.“
“Very homy, very comfortable relaxed environment, The waitresses was very friendly, I didn't understand why they didn't bread the fish with cornmeal. But besides that the fish was very fresh everything was really nice thank you very much. And I like their menu.“
“What a treasure! Excellent breakfast food - the bacon was crispy just like I asked, the pancake much larger than anticipated, the coffee was actually GOOD and fresh! Butter, not margarine for pancake. Attentive service - the gentleman kept walking around offering more coffee. The waitress was helpful and attentive. It felt like walking back in to an old, community based diner where people knew each other. Norman Rockwell pictures on the wall. What more can you ask for - atmosphere, great service, great food. We thoroughly loved this place! Cons? None.“

“Didn't feel like making breakfast so my husband and I went out to eat Sunday morning. We wound up at Mom's Diner. We walked in and seated ourselves - we were greeted with silverware and napkins. I asked for coffee and water and he ordered a coke. As we glanced through the menu, the prices looked reasonable for breakfast items - between $10 to $12 per order. I ordered the Mom's Breakfast with over medium eggs, country potatoes, bacon, and one pancake. My coffee cup ran low and empty a couple of times, but I sipped on my water and waited for my order. When it arrived, I couldn't believe how large it was for $9.99. The bacon was long and thick - perfectly cooked. A generous serving of country potatoes and my eggs were cooked correctly. I thought I would receive silver dollar pancakes, but it was one large cake that took up a plate. I don't know what they put in the pancake, but it is extremely delicious. There's something yummy going on with batter that I cannot put my finger on. Despite my low coffee cup, I enjoyed my breakfast experience and will return soon. :)“
“We have tried a few moms dinners around the area. My wife likes this one the most. The sweet tea was overpowering, but the water was fine. She got the chicken tenders, and I got the burger. I only ate half the burger as it didn't taste good to me. She took home some of the chicken. The service was somewhat slow, but there was a constant flow of people coming and going. Would we go back again, if she wanted to.Parking: Parking fills up fast.“
“This is probably my new breakfast restaurant. I used to go to a place at 61st and Yale that was too noisy and not worth the parking, noise, value and wait. Mom’s has a great value, very good food, and you can hear your parties voices at your table. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient.“
“This is our go-to place for Reuben Sandwiches and Onion Rings. Always excellent. The price is good. The service is great. The atmosphere is fun. I saw an old Perry Mason show on the TV once. Brought back memories of my grandmother and my childhood.“
“We went for brunch and both ordered "Smart Bombs" which was basically what other places call a skillet, but this was one of the best we have had and we have had many. Our server, Sarah was very attentive and helpful and the overall experience was great!“
“We eat hers regularly and the food is usually great; however, today, my omelet was crispy brown inside and out, overcooked, and not tasty. This was a different cook who clearly doesn’t cook eggs carefully. I peeled off as much if the deeply browned crust as I could.The waitress was great as usual and the bathroom is always clean. Just not happy with the meal today.“

“My husband and I had just come from an appointment and stopped to get something to eat. The wait staff and everyone there was very friendly, the food was good and at the end was shown these ginormous cinnamon rolls and two small ones to either eat or take home. Of course I took a big one and it was delicious! We had a good visit that day!“

“Wow! This place was amazing! They have THE BEST CHICKEN FRIED STEAK! The service was great, and we loved the patriotic decor inside.Let me start by saying that I am a diehard chicken fried steak lover...I mean snob level. Lol. Anytime we travel in the states, I'm always on the hunt for the best chicken fried steak breakfast in town. If this isn't the best in town, then knock me down! The meat was perfectly tender, with only a couple of minor chewy pieces, but overall, the tenderness was on point. The crispy breading was perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all. The breading was so good, I would've liked even more of it! The classic white gravy was phenomenal and just as good as I hoped, if not better. They gave a very healthy portion of the gravy too, but since I love gravy so much, I asked for extra and slathered it on every bite.The hash browns were also delicious and very flavorful, which was a pleasant surprise, because I've never really been a big fan of hash browns, but these were the tastiest I've ever had. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.My over easy eggs were perfectly cooked as well.My husband had the steak berger cooked medium, and it was delicious and perfectly seasoned as well. His over medium eggs were also cooked perfectly.His home fries were a bit too salty for his liking though, which says a lot, because he tends to like his food on the more flavorful side.We're so thrilled that we gave Mom's a try! We might have to come back for chicken fried steak for dinner too!“
