On a whim I ran up to Burlington Oklahoma to check out a place called the Vintage House. To be honest I didn't know what to expect. Burlington is a sleepy little farm community that looks much like a Rockwell painting. I walked in to this venue and was pleasantly surprised. Imagine a menu that covers everything from Lobster to Prawns to a Buffalo steak and a beautiful Ribeye that is aged to perfection. My friends took me here on my birthday. It is a little more than an hour away from Enid, but worth the drive. The food was excellent and the proprietor and her children were delightful.
This was a great fine in the small town of Helena Oklahoma. The building is a old brick with matching interior. The ribeye steak was excellent, cooked prefect and very tender. The baked potato was small but very good. My wife's shiskbob was great. The new York strip used was very tender, unlike most.. It was cooked perfect and they gave her a baked potato instead of rice at no charge. The service was excellent. If close again I would eat here every time.
