“My grandmother, who is now 87, grew up in Calumet. She remembers eating here growing up. This place has been around under various owners since 1930. Today we took my grandmother to Cobb Creek for breakfast. She says the decor inside has changed a lot over the years, but the good food and excellent service haven’t. Overall, we were very impressed with the place. It’s nothing fancy, just a small town diner. But the food is good, the portions are very generous and the service is great. The biscuits are homemade and quite large, the pancakes are plate-sized and very fluffy, the eggs are fresh and the sausage has great flavor. We will definitely be back.“
