Dot's Cafe Reviews
I was not impressed with the menu selection, was not good food selection for type of atmosphere. Waitress did not offer drinks and had to order off sides to just get pancakes. WTF. Bummer for such a neat place.
First time visit. Hubby got hot beef plate which came out first and was cold. Mine was Pattie melt. Meat was very overbooked to the point of being blackened and rubbery. I have never had a Pattie melt that wasn’t juicy and flavorful. Maybe the cook has an off day. Wasn’t worth complaining about but a bad first impression. Service was good. Not going back for a second visit.
Ate lunch at this little gem of a Cafe. The cheeseburgers are scrumptious and the onion rings to die for! Homemade pies foe dessert. Will definitely have to go back again and try something else on the menu. They also serve breakfast until closing!

Dot's Cafe is a small, homey diner with a fun atmosphere, featuring humorous signs for customers to read while waiting for their food. The staff is generally friendly, and many reviews highlight their super friendly service. The food is good and has a homemade touch, with generous portions and fresh-cut fries. Breakfast is a highlight, with a bottomless cup of coffee and generous servings. The turkey and dressing special with mashed potatoes has received praise, although some diners noted an unexpected vinegar flavor in the navy beans. The atmosphere has a quaint old cafe vibe that many customers appreciate. Due to its small size, waiting may be necessary during peak times, especially around busy hours like 1 PM. Parking can be challenging in this busy part of town, but there is a free parking lot about a block east. The bathroom is located outside the cafe. Despite some minor drawbacks, Dot's Cafe is a great spot to try out, with reasonable prices and delicious offerings, including the highly recommended chocolate pie.
