“I was in town visiting family at Grand Lake of The Cherokees and taking in the Bassmasters Classic when I discovered this place. It was a small cozy place and the service was just delightful. A great authentic Mexican restaurant and the quesadillas are my pick.“

“I only put I would recommend because of today visit. I have gone there for years and as a full time lake dweller now there are very few restaurants open on Sundays. Which is when us full timers like to go out to avoid the weekenders. Now, review: Place was not busy! Seated quickly! Wish our waitress was as efficient as she was friendly. If you can’t remember orders then write them down. Several things that I requested had to be asked for several times and some I never got, period. Drinks took forever and never did get the water we requested when we sat down. Finally after asking 1/2 way through our meal and asking again got 1 water. Drinks were both delicious👍🏻 UPSIDE‼️ It was supreme Sunday…. Supreme burrito was good and huge. Mine was not what I ordered. My Chile Relleno had ranchero sauce not white queso that I asked for and the pepper had no filling at all and was tiny. It was only edible because I ordered queso to start as an appetizer and put it on it. The chicken enchilada was awesome. The rice was awesome the beans were just beans. The guacamole I will say was fresh and probably the best I’ve had in a long time😋 I asked for hot salsa when we 1st sat down because their regular salsa has no spice at all. Which I understand some need that just plain stewed tomato salsa but didn’t get the hot salsa till I asked 2 more times. Ordered 1 more Margarita that someone I assumed from the bar delivered. By then we were ready to go and our waitress was nowhere to be found. I think she was helping to put together carry out orders. I think her mind was on something else but clearly not on our table. Overall not the worst but by far not the best food or service I have gotten there before! I still tipped over 20% because this just seemed to be an off day for them.“

“Interesting, lively atmosphere. A tight community of all age ranges supports this restaurant and bar located in two buildings separated by a small parking lot. Busy was expected for a Friday night. However, please don't assume everyone who walks in to know the general rules of the establishment. Food was served piping hot, but a little bland for Mexican style. Glad it wasn't too hot because the server had to be flagged down twice to refill sodas.
Parking: Somewhat challenging. It's a mixed parking area for vehicles and golf carts, which is very conducive to the local community. However, minimal lighting makes it tough to see clearly, especially when unfamiliar with surroundings.“
