As the first contestant in “who has the best dessert in Oklahoma”, Cafe Downtown Clinton has a big lead. The desserts are home made, banana cake like your mom used to make and custard pie like my mom used to make. The pie crust is amazing. The cake is moist. This cafe is a must for anyone touring Route 66, visiting the South for the winter or even a day trip from OKC. It will be tough for the next contestants to catch up.
Ann one of the Owners took our order.She was very welcoming and fun to talk to. The food was good home cooked ? yumminess. Quick service too. A nice find on our road trip.They have a large gift shop attached to the cafe. Found a beautiful new square cake plate to go with my English Hobnail glass collection!

Work in the area semi frequently. I was craving something homestyle and filling . Discovered this great little place downtown. Enjoyed a most delicious BLT and a bowl of amazing potato soup. Really hit the spot. Owner is very nice. Stores to shop on either side.
