“GREAT food! We WILL return on the trip home. Emma, our waitress, won our hearts. Food: mayo based potato salad had a touch of dill, and was creamy good. Mashed potatoes and gravy were the real deal. Great butter grilled Texas toast, Decent side salad of good size. Chicken fried steak was a good size, tender, with crunchy outside. Grilled chicken was tender, moist, and flavorful. The peach cobbler and the blackberry cobblers with ice cream were mouth watering great!! Thankfully, those servings weren’t huge! Also, the meals were a great value.”

We have been coming here for the last 6 years. The last several trips it’s just been getting worse… but this last time was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had. I’m generally not one to leave a bad review but this place has really gone down hill. We sit down at about 7:15 on a Saturday. There was a birthday party that was finishing up and about 4 tables. Our server comes up after a few minutes, takes our drink order and tells us burgers are going to take up to 30-45 minutes because they cook has to make the patties first. We said that was fine but we will need an appetizer so we ordered one. We both finished our beers and watched as food was coming out to all the other tables. The table behind us was extremely irritated because they had been there for an hour and a half waiting on their food. After 45 minutes… our server comes running by with someone else’s food and asks my dad if he wants another beer but doesn’t actually stop. Guess what…. She didn’t come back with a beer and didn’t come back to ask. Finally, she comes back with our burgers. It’s been 50 minutes….. we have a toddler with us who is super hungry at this point. Her hot dog looked like something that had been sitting on a roller at a gas station. She sets our food down and says the cook forgot to put our appetizer in so there won’t be a charge for that. I responded with “obviously we won’t be charged for food we don’t have.” Yes, it was caddy but she was too busy talking to the cook and other people at the bar to noticed that (at this point there were 2 tables) one of her tables didn’t have their appetizers after almost an hour! The waitress was very rude at this point. We ended up walking out without even touching our food. Every time we are there, they are completely under staffed. I’ve known several of the previous waitresses and they all say the same thing… the owner doesn’t care. I’ll say it again… by far the WORST dining experience. We will not be back. Which is sad because it’s the only place to get a burger in this town that isn’t sonic or McDonald’s.”

“It's been a little bit since I went in but the ice cream was delicious and the chocolate waffle cone was tasty and crunchy as well. Very friendly people run this place and would recommend no matter the time of year or weather. Beware the cones are bigger than you might think. I couldn't finish my double scoop cone. 😋”

“Found this place by sheer accident on our way to Galena, Kansas following Route 66 and so glad we did!!!!! ❤️😋😍 This un-assuming restaurant isn't fancy by any means, but don't let that fool you because there's some of the best Chinese food awaiting you inside. The interior similar to the exterior is simple and relatively small with approximately 6 tables. Set-up is geared more towards takeout as there were lots of people picking up food orders. We opted to dine in and we wouldn't have had it any other way. The service was phenomenal!!!! Our waiter had mad multi-tasking skills as he waited on us, took phone and walk in orders, checked and prepared orders, and ran the cash register all while ensuring our drinks never ran empty. The menu selection is HUGE! There were items listed on the partition that weren't listed on the menu yet....the menu selection is that big. Everything we ordered was beyond AMAZING!!! We ordered the beef fried rice, tofu with country vegetables, szechuan shrimp, salt and papper tofu cubes, fried spicy dumplings, and an order of crab rangoon. Everything arrived fresh, hot, fast, and tasted exceptional. The portions were HUGE! Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ worthy! If you haven't eaten here before, you seriously need to. We'll definitely be back
