Stopped by on a whim and now I will forever crave their pies. I got the caramel apple and it was a pocket of delicious goodness. The crust was soft and flaky and the inside was warm and gooey.
We tried the cherry and blackberry fried pies, and both were delicious! The place was packed when we arrived, but the line moved quickly and efficiently. The pies had a perfect balance of sweet, fruity filling and savory, flaky dough. The only thing that could have made them even better might be a light glaze or a dusting of powdered sugar for that extra touch.
