Well 4 of us were on bicycles and one fell on 3rd ave across from this restaurant. A man came out ask if we needed ice or anything. We said ice. He brought us a ziplock of ice and water to clean the wound. We were very thankful for his help. We did not get his name but THANK YOU! They are closed on Sunday so we didn't get a chance to stop by to eat or say thank you in person.

After spending slightly less than 30 seconds admiring the “World’s Largest Peanut” located at the corner of Durant’s City Hall, we were worn out and hungry. Fortunately, about 200’ from the legendary statue is an excellent little Tex-Mex joint, the Salvador Cocina. (Tex-Mex , NOT Salvadoran) It is in a small historic building just a few away on 3rd Ave. Nicely decorated, comfortable, tables, no booths and bar seating if you like.
