Even though the place was popping, and there was chatter and music, the acoustics still allowed for conversation to be easily heard. Hott Wings is locally owned. Another plus in my books. If you are familiar with Eddies and the Lounge, the same Eddie owns Hott Wings. Jodi Cooper, our tribe mother, started the meal by sharing the premier pickle wings. These are wings marinated in pickle juice and tossed with salt and vinegar. One bite and our sunshine Sally Cable said, “I have a new favorite wing.” Jodi, Sally, and I all ordered salads. All three of our salads were so big we got enough to take home and have another meal. Jodi ordered the cobb salad. If you ever wondered what food, as art, would look like, this salad was a masterpiece. Sally had the wedge salad. It was perfect. I had the avocado stuffed salad. From my first bite and my taste buds were saying, “This is yummy!” Doyle also ordered wings, and I think I saw him licking his lips after each bite. Gary helped Jodi with her meal. The serving sizes are large, and one serving is just right for two people. Hott Wings also has excellent customer service. All our servers were friendly and experienced in keeping the customer happy. “A yummy surprise! We stopped here on a whim for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure where the "bar" part comes in, and there isn't much in the way of descriptions on their menu. However, everything that was put in front of me I immensely enjoyed. And the portion sizes are huge! I can not say enough about the broth. It is fantastic. The staff was also so friendly. Definitely worth a stop!“

Chicken is whole tenders, not pressed meat, just enough breading. Crinkle fries really good, if hot. Garlic toast perfect. Coleslaw bit tangy so add touch of mayo. Need to add one more side option (okra, mac & chz?) & would be nice to have specials occasionally or offer coupons, since is a bit pricey.“

“Leslie was the one to help me and my associate. Told her I never been before she explained what options there are and some of her personal favorites. Made sure we got what we wanted. Came over to explain wings are made fresh per order so it might be a bit but it came out crazy fast and man it was so good. Service was great, food was great, prices good… so all in all I’ll be bringing my team with me next visit“

My son who is the senior at Edmond Memorial had an ACT boot camp at UCO until 8 p.m. and I had no way to feed him before hand and she allowed me to call over the phone to pay for a large pizza and a coke with my debit card so my baby didn't have to learn on an empty stomach!
