It's lovely that they brought out the original 1971 dark roast. We can appreciate how far they've come on roasting to bring out the different beans' characterstics instead of just creating a bold backdrop for all of the coffee flavored milkshakes they are known for.
I ordered a tall black cup to try, fully anticipating it would be over roasted for my taste. I was spot on. I love Starbucks coffees but not this one.

The service was great! The girls working were so accommodating. The drink was delicious and the tear apart hit the spot.
