If you have time to go into downtown El Reno on historic Route 66 do stop by this donut shop in a darling retro building, maybe a converted vintage gas station? We tried a couple different donuts and each was better than the last. Best donuts we have had in ages! Currently it closes at 12:30.
This place is new and should be here a long time. First is the freshness of the donuts. The donuts are so soft, except for the fritters which are crispy fresh deliciousness! The lady at the counter is super nice and the service is perfect. THEY FILL THE DONUTS WHILE YOU WAIT!!! Yup, you choose what you want your donut filled with and they fill it for you then. I have been to this shop a few times and I can honestly say that it is my favorite donut shop. I live in Oklahoma but I make deliveries to the store next door and it is a must that I get a donut from here every time I come to El Reno ??.
