“I'll start with the good. The place is tiny but very quaint. They kept everything fairly clean and the staff were all very nice and polite. My son enjoyed his burger and tots and my daughter enjoyed her burger as well. My wife had the grilled cheese and liked it as well.Shakes: These were blended PERFECTLY! The thickness of them is spot on. They are thick but drinkable shakes and they will mix flavors together no problem. I had a PB & Banana and my daughter had peanut butter and chocolate. Both were delicious and smooth! Added bonus they bring you the extra in the mixer cup if you are dining in!The drawbacks I found were the fries which were pretty soft and didn't have a great flavor to us. They were kind of like the fries the Garage used to have, only slimmer and not as good. We are not generally fans of this type of fry in the first place though - soft cooked and natural cut. I did actually ask for them to be crispy but it seems the message didn't get across somehow. I had the chicken fried steak sandwich... I do NOT recommend it. It could be just me, but I found it had WAY too much batter, (which was extremely salty by the way,) and the steak was a red-ish color (not rare) and very thin. It looked like it had been forced into a patty with a meat pulverizer and I had a difficult time even seeing it amongst the large amounts of batter. I have been to quite a few places with chicken fried steak so to give an idea of one I like, I like them the way Kendall's does them better.Wheelchair accessibility: It doesn't seem like a wheelchair friendly place due to the extremely small interior, but they could probably make it work.”
“This is a great little family owned Mexican restaurant in El Reno. It’s really popular with the locals and for good reason. The food is very good, the portions are large and the service is great. It’s a small place, so sometimes it gets a little crowded, but they have plans to move into a bigger location soon. Next time you’re out in El Reno, stop in for lunch or dinner. You’ll be glad you did.”
“Prices were comparable to a combo at Taco Bell, but the quality was 100 times better. My birria tacos with consomme were authentic and delicious, and the only reason to go anywhere else is that this place closes pretty early.”
“Went for the onion burger and left with a T-shirt! If you are on a roadtrip I would recommend a stop in here! This very clean restaurant was friendly and full of locals, enjoying the famous ElReno onion burger! The price was on point and they even sold merchandise! Parking out front and lots of seating!”
“This is a little place in a strip mall in El Reno, OK. My husband and I were on an adventure challenge and we had to find a small town restaurant more than 20miles away. We found this place and took a gamble. It is very small, but the service and the food were good. If you’re big on ambiance, this place may not be for you-it’s very simple inside. The food came out quickly. Everything we ordered was good. It had a constant flow of traffic-we showed it’s a local fave. If we are out that way again, I would stop by to eat there again.”
“We love Tacos Jalisco. We always get their street tacos which are so good! We live Yukon, but this is one of the best places we have found for street tacos! The drive is worth it!!”
“Marvelous food!! Guacamole is excellent!! Had the platillo w/ Asada and Pollo! Amazing!! Had to share pics- but these are after my husband and I had made 2 fajitas!”
“I ordered the loaded potato with brisket. The brisket was not chopped. Instead, it was large, moist, delicious slabs. ( like it should be ) The potato skin was actually seasoned. I rarely find a restraunt who thinks to season the outside of the potato! I ate the entire thing!I also ordered the three meat platter with ribs, turkey, and sausage. All three were moist and delicious, and required no sauce to hide the flavor or how well the meat was prepared.! I love that they did not cover the meat with sauce. Sauce should be the customer's choice. The side of mac n cheese was standard mac n cheese. Unfortunately, nothing special. The tots were little potato cubes. They were lightly seasoned, moist, and very tasty.”
“This place was a one of a kind place! I normally never write reviews, but I really thing this place is a gem. I normally go to Virginia because it’s closer to my house and work, but now I’ll be make that extra drive for this place. And I know what you are thinking it’s just coffee, however me and my husband never find coffee we both like normally it’s either too strong or too weak or too sweet and this place was perfect!”
“This is my favorite place to eat in town! Best food you can get! You have to eat here if you’re passing through, or if you live here and haven’t eaten here yet what are you waiting for??!!”
“You can smoke cigarettes & cigars inside .No band or entertainment on this Saturday night..Becca the bar tender is really good & friendly ..2 pool tables ..Nice place and outside stage an seating.Friendly patrons ..No riff raff”
“I liked my meal but my husband didn't like the chicken fried rice. The lady that took our order didn't understand English so I wasn't able to get my order the way I wanted it.”
“Little loud in the restaurant, clean , orderly chaos. Quick staff. Decent prices set for the amount of food u receive. a lighter portion lunch & dinner option is available. Also smaller plate the price is reflected fairly for the light options ,good .?”
“This place is a hidden treasure in El Reno!! I was so impressed with the quality of their pizza and the cleanliness of their dining area. But the part that really struck me above everything else was the customer service that the 2 girls working today gave. We will absolutely be coming back because they were truly amazing!! Definitely check this spot out ?❤️”
“I grew up in El Reno. Onion burger? Four stars!Service? One cook, one counter person, twelve stools along the counter...very personal interaction. Atmosphere? Great if you like authentic onion burger joint. This place is the only vintage burger joint left. Johnnies has booths and tables, as does Sid's. If you want the real deal, Roberts is the place.”
