Usually pretty good food. I don't like how they ask for a tip in the drive-thru is my only complaint
We were passing through and decided to stop for lunch/dinner before the long road home. The staff was very helpful answering my husband’s questions and ensuring we were happy with the food, which was delicious!
I like their BBQ. I wish they had a location in Piedmont. If you have the app, you can earn free food.

Swadley's Bar-B-Q is known for its delicious ribs, which are considered some of the best in the Midwest. The restaurant offers a self-serve ice cream machine for customers to enjoy. While there have been some complaints about the service in the past, recent reviews highlight improvements. One customer noted that the staff was very helpful and attentive, ensuring their satisfaction with the food, which was delicious.
The food at Swadley's Bar-B-Q is a treat. The loaded potato with brisket is a must-try, as the brisket is served in large, moist, and delicious slabs. The Oklahoma sampler, which includes a big pork rib, flat cut brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, sausage, two sides, and a roll, is also highly recommended and offers great value. The three-meat platter, featuring ribs, turkey, and sausage, is moist and flavorful, with ribs that don't require any sauce.
The side of mac n cheese is standard, but the tots are lightly seasoned, moist, and delicious. The wings are also a favorite, described as plump and meaty, especially when dipped in the excellent sweet BBQ sauce. The restaurant could improve its service further by continuing to ensure that their staff is attentive to customers' needs. Overall, Swadley's Bar-B-Q is a great option for those seeking tasty BBQ dishes in a welcoming atmosphere.
