I was having a long day and needed a pick-me-up and the barista was so kind and helpful, it was so nice to have such a pleasant interaction after such a hard day. “I went through the drive through this am with my 17 year old dog, I was crying, getting her last meal. I could barely speak, I went through the last window and a lovely girl asked me if I was okay, I still couldn’t talk. She reached her hand out to comfort me. I couldn’t say what was happening but she still told me it was gonna be okay and unprompted, unscripted, just pure kindness and caring. I still never got to tell her what was wrong, I just wanted to say her act of kindness meant the world to me and I hope she gets a promotion and some recognition for what she did. It meant everything to me in a terrible moment in my life.“
