Drove from okc to get an onion burger and have to say kinda disappointed because its supposed to be fried onion burger not a burnt onion burger

Ate there today (4/13/24) and it was our first time. Heard nothing but good but it was not good. I had a double meat onion burger, my wife had a single burger lite on onion and a 1/2 order fries. Our burgers were very bland either no seasoning or very little, I put salt and pepper on mine but didn’t seem to help. Our fries were real greasy and not good. I honestly don’t see the hoopla there but it was busy so they have something going for them. I am glad a lot of people like their food but I for one don’t. It asks,"what dishes would I recommend" probably none of them.

Our waitress was friendly and prompt!Our food was delicious as always ?I had the coney with chili and slaw for the first time, I don't know why I waited so long? It was so delicious ?And the price wasn't bad either.

I had a bunless onion burger with all the dressings, onion rings and my wife had the chicken bacon ranch wrap and a half order of fries.
I was in town working and had heard good things about Johnnie’s. It did not disappoint. The burger hit the spot. Service was great. Never had to ask for a refill. I will definitely stop by again when I’m in town.
