Fantastic Experience at Pencina Mexican Café!

Wow! What a great place to eat. This was our first visit, and we made the drive from Yukon to check it out. It was absolutely worth it! The food was incredibly fresh, and the portion sizes were excellent for the price. On top of that, the service was top-notch, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend!

The chips, tortillas, cheese and salsa were delicious. We enjoyed the meals we ordered. My hubby gave me a few bites of his churro with caramel and vanilla sauce, and it was so tasty! We only had to wait 5-10 minutes on a Friday night to get a table we wanted which is not bad at all! They were full and the place is small- but there’s enough room that my anxiety didn’t kick in, because it was busy, not crazy. They have an insane amount of people working the dining area, so the service was phenomenal. We didn’t have to wait long for anything. Everyone working was incredibly friendly. They must have just as many cooks in the back because our food came out crazy fast, but was somehow all fresh. Also, the decor and the patio were all beautiful! I love traveling and finding amazing Mexican restaurants. This was one of my most positive dining experiences 😊

First time here in some time. I ordered the lunch special, 2 enchiladas w/ rice but I got to the end of my FIRST enchilada & had a small hair on it. I didn't even notice until my man pointed it out to me. We still got charged for the meal because I wanted a fresh one made to go. I think I should have got a SINGLE enchilada dinner made fresh to go & not be charged because I still had my 2nd enchilada that I didn't even get to eat because of the hair & they took the plate already.
At LEAST a percentage OFF. He said something about if I didn't get a fresh meal to go he wouldn't charge us for my meal, but like I said I still had my 2ND enchilada on my plate that I didn't get to eat...so I don't understand why they didn't just make me a fresh single one to go ? Lol 🤔🤔🤔🙄

This location is a little smaller than their other one in Weatherford. The food was good, nothing great... But it was good. The shredded beef I highly recommend, their white queso is very good, salsa also delicious. I found the rice to be a little bland as well as the chicken enchilada that I had. More flavor please 😊 The service was absolutely excellent! The atmosphere in this specific location was extremely loud as everyone is in very tight quarters...

A friend of mine recently treated me to dinner here. I will definitely be back!!! The staff was friendly, waiter attentive, food fresh, chips and white queso so delicious 🤩 and prices fair for the quantity of food it got!! Support this local business!
