The Onion burgers fries are very good
They are the real deal for your nostalgic diner experience. Roberts grill has the best burgers and coneys. I'm a fan of the slaw on top of the chili coney. They have my vote. Do they have yours?
Robert’s Grill makes the best onion burgers in the universe. The onion burger from their grill could be considered a religious experience. The fries are perfectly crispy, and the homemade coleslaw is even better than my grandma’s. I come to El Reno specifically to go Robert’s, y’all should too.

Roberts is advertised as the oldest onion burger restaurant in El Reno, so we chose it over the other restaurants. If you are one who enjoys non descript, low key diners, you will enjoy eating here as much as we did. There are no booths or tables, only diner bar seating. A great place to see your burger getting cooked up with onions on top and smashed flat together. Sitting there you can just feel the character of a long time eatery. Probably 10 to 12 stools around the bar. The prices are very reasonable this day and age, and the fries are excellent. I think I prefer my onions grilled and placed on top of the burger, but the burger itself was good. A small menu, burgers and hotdogs to my recollection. Only a menu board on the wall. No paper menus. More charm. A true hole in the wall, not for slack wearer's diner. Stop by and enjoy along with previous decades of customers.

Ordered ahead. I oreder a double cheeseburger (or whatever they call it) with no veggies. Ended up getting there later than I thought and received a single burger with pickles. BUT it is what it is, food was priced right, food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was very friendly and quick. No major complaints, will be back.

A must stop for any Route 66 traveller! Their onion burger is so delicious that I've ordered a second one just after finishing the first! If I were living in Oklahoma I would eat at Robert's every day! Thank you from Italy
