“WOW! This by FAR the best Vietnamese we have had in YEARS !!! The Pho has depth of flavor and the noodles did not break down. The pho stayed nice and hot. The fried springrolls are cooked to perfection. Nuoc mam is delicious. Also they have the wooden chopsticks instead of plastic, YAY!!! Even the water tastes clean and refreshing. My husband had seafood/stir fied egg noodles. Big portion and very, very good. Also they have Bahn mi on the menu plus steamed rice, fried rice, vermicelli dinners. We will be back!!!”

After moving our oldest out of her college dorm we were ready to drive two hours home and wanted to try her favorite restaurant but it was only 3pm and we weren’t hungry. We got recommendations on cooking it and it came out perfectly. I could tell this was not a normal request and really appreciated getting to try the pizza my college kid loves. 🍕”

“We happen to come across Abu Omar Halal today while in Baton Rouge, Louisiana & they definitely caught our eye…. We just had to stop and try it! 🥳 Let’s just say it was soooo worth it, They have the best version of chicken shawarma I’ve ever had. I ate every last bite before leaving the parking lot. ❤️ We got the Chicken Shawarma Arabi along with a side of spicy garlic sauce! The spicy garlic sauce is a MUST TRY!”

Really the stand out here is the service and environment. Our server, Lauren, was funny, kind, incredibly attentive and thoughtful. They were able to modify anything on the menu, she said, to be gluten-free and/or accommodate other allergies. She had suggestions for what I might order, and went to great lengths to make sure I loved what I ordered and that I got what I wanted. It seemed like everyone working there was part of a team, that they were enjoying themselves and liked their jobs and each other. The restaurant is cozy and not too big. Outstanding food, impeccable service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I'm counting down the days until I get to go back to The Moon!”
