Cute little diner. Girls are order takers, not servers but nice enough. Potato chunk in booth seat with a dead wasp under edge of table. Coffee was yuk, foul dark water. Pork tenderloin sandwich was cardboard and splinters on the edge (my meal). Smoked sausage looked like hot dogs sliced up. Not certain how to explain the baked beans appearance? Never a repeat kind of place.

We love this place. Food is always good. Service is always great. Home town atmosphere, just like ya want. This has become one of our favorite places to eat, especially for breakfast, when we come into Grove.

Food was AMAZING! our waitress was great! The other waitress birdie that was working, was talking very loudly and badly about another waitress that wasn’t working tonight to other customers. And the other waitress being talked about happens to be family. Was very uncomfortable and made me and my husband instantly sick that she would talk about her like that infront of people who don’t even know her. Very disrespectful and rude behavior.

Great home cooking. Hamburgers were fantastic. Chicken strip and hamburger steak was excellent. Could get breakfast anytime of day.

We ordered medium rare ribeyes, but both were unseasoned well done (tough) steaks (looked more like NY steak). Service was slow, never offered a refill on drinks.
We waited a while for the ticket and finally had to ask for it.
They did give us a discount bc of these issues.

Unfortunately I have to write a review on my experience here at the grove location. The staff wasn’t that friendly (the younger girl didn’t smile one time). I have worked in the restaurant Industry for many years and was very upset with the experience I had here. Steaks weren’t good and over cooked for majority of the table. Not the best food around grove and I do understand this isn’t longhorn steak house… however I’ll be stick the places that I have ate at in grove!

I just moved to Grove, 1st restaurant my fiancee and i stopped at and i must say low quality food, side dishes were cold, service wasnt very good either, only had my drink refilled after having to ask, definitely could have been better. Very unfortunate experience, will not be returning.

Went to Pistol Pats on Father’s Day after church for breakfast. Waited well over one hour for food. Food not good, cold when we finally got it. This place used to be a favorite, but has really slipped recently. There was a sign on the door wanting cooks! Never a good sign. Waitress was very friendly👍
