Stopped in here on the way back home to st.louis. They had a cute set up with lots of options for drinks and food. We had a chicken sandwich which was fresh and really tasty. And a caramel cappuccino that was good, but verrrry sweet, so if you like yours like that then perfect! Otherwise maybe ask for it to be less sweet. They also do rolled ice cream and other things so check them out!

Stopped and stayed while my husband had a business meeting and they welcomed me while I waited an extended time. The food was was made from scratch and homemade just like my grandmother used to make it. The coffee was delicious too!! The atmosphere is comfortable, clean, inviting and the music was the perfect touch! Highly recommend!!
The food and coffee are good and very reasonably priced. People and service are the most excellent and memorable part of this shop. Slightly tucked away, Good News Coffee Cafe may not be the most noticeable for travelers along Hwy 59 but it is a great spot for breakfast and lunch. It just gives you a warm, down home feeling from the moment you open the door.

We stumbled on this place while looking for a different lunch option and were delighted that we stopped there. The grilled chicken salad was really delicious. All the vegetables were fresh and the chicken seasoned and warm. The strawberry vinaigrette topped it all off. Fresh and friendly.

Lots of options for drinks: coffee, lemonade, Italian cream soda. They also have rolled ice cream where they mix it on a cold plate and literally roll it up like a fruit roll up. Worth the trip to Main Street if you're in the area. They have food too, but we didn't order anything as we just ate.
I don't even like coffee, but this place makes me wanna like it.
