“Me and my family ate here after a long day on the Red river. Thank goodness we did. The food was hands down the best Cajun food I’ve ate in a long time!!! The buttermilk pie was sooooo good as well. Our waitress Barbara was exceptional! Loved her cheery personality!!!! The atmosphere was very laid back and just all around nice place! This little hole in the wall restaurant definitely exceeded my expectations!! We plan on driving down here just to eat again!!”

“Drove from Atoka OK to Kingston OK to eat here. well worth the drive. Next time I will start with the fabulous homemade ice cream, then eat some fish and shrimp and finish off with more ice cream. Bring your appetite, you won't be disappointed!!”

“So glad we drove out of the way to grab lunch here. Amazing chicken fried steak. My husband had great beans and mashed potatoes. Said they both were not your average sides. My steak fingers where to tender they pulled apart without cutting them gravy roll and fries also yummy. Our waitress was awesome and even got our order so we could beat the 25 person table ordering for lunch on Sunday. We will definitely be back to try those Amazing burgers we saw and some pizza. I added a picture with 1 steak finger ( 4 in order) that I could finish.”

“We have really enjoyed coming here to eat. The food is always good. You will be served chips and salsa to snack on while you wait. The menu has a wide variety of choices and the prices are very reasonable!! Most importantly, the waitresses and the staff are always so sweet, helpful and friendly! It's a little drive outside of town but it is totally worth it to drive there! If you haven't been here to eat, you are missing out!”

“The atmosphere of this place is awesome, exactly what you would want from a 50’s diner. The chicken fingers were so fresh and juicy; very good- but my fries were almost cold and not quite cooked… cooked enough but could have been better. The fried biscuit ‘Bread Puffs’ were pretty darn good. I ordered the Cherry Limeade but could hardly taste either flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive, the only downside was hearing them chatting and flirting with the cooks through the window. My husband got the Reuben sandwich- that doesn’t come with a side… kind of overpriced for portion size. But we will go back to try other items.”

“My husband and I ate there tonight and love their food but the service tonight was lacking. We ordered drinks 1st and I had ordered a beer. When our food came out I reminded her I didn’t have my beer. We ate and got up to leave and as we are walking up my beer finally came out. We were not checked on after the food was delivered and there was only one other table sat. Very disappointed I never received a drink.”

“I love Subway. I usually only go every once in a while. I always get the same thing 2 six in with a large sweet tea. This time, their tea tasted sour to me, so I went back in to trade it out. The manager was kind testy about me saying that. Tried a small cup of it and said it doesn't taste sour. I doubt this man knew how to make tea. The other employee was really sweet and helped me out on it.”

“My daughter spilled her drink all over the floor and she was very upset. The staff member on break came up and started to help me clean up. Then the other staff member came from around the counter and continued to assure her and myself that it was no big deal. It was super sweet.”

“$3 Nachos are the best. The seating is hard wood..which is why I gave a 4-star review.

I love the Cravings Menu and order the nachos. I ordered it without the red sauce but with tomatoes and onions.

The staff is plenty helpful if you use the kiesok and need assistance. They normally take your order, but today, they were pretty busy, so I used the kieosk.

I like eating inside. The only problem is I need seats with cushions. All the seating is wooden benches or chairs. This is the only reason I left a 4-star review. The atmosphere is nice, clean, and cheerful.
The hot sauce bar is neatly stocked, and all the little hot sauce packets are perfectly lined up.”

“My Husband and I have been there twice, both times I ordered the PB and Jay- very excited to finally find a PB burger. It tastes very good, neither time was it cooked how I requested and the second time it came with the wrong cheese. The servers are awesome I think they need new cooks and it will be much better. The first time we went they forgot to cook my Husband’s pizza. I wish they had normal fries, the menu says fries and other places it says ‘sidewinders’ which is deceiving. The second visit there was a lady standing behind the counter with her hair down just talking to the cook the entire time we were there- wasn’t a good look at all.”
