Fabulous food. The fish is amazing, the boiled shrimp is de-veined, and the fried shrimp is excellent, but save some room for their homemade ice cream. I may start with it next time. Highly recommend. My only disappointment was the salad. I'm allergic to the iceberg, so I didn't get to have salad.
I moved to north Texas a few months ago, I ran into an old guy at another restaurant, he sad the best catfish in the area was at BG's in Kingston Oklahoma. It's a 30 mile drive. The drive was worth it. The are only open four days a week for 4 hours, plan accordingly. We got there about 10 minutes before they opened and a crowd was gathered waiting. The food is OK. It is a family style buffet, so if you want a quiet place to eat, this is not the place to go. They need to do a better job with the catfish. I like catfish to be thin and never slimy. I almost always get a slimy piece or two, and then I can't eat anymore.The target sauce does not taste great, it tastes like mayonnaise.
