Best Mexican food and drinks in Lawton. 11/10 couldn’t recommend more.
This is our second time here, and every plate of food is served with heart. They truly care about technique, flavor, and challenging the misconception that Mexican food is just rice and beans. I highly recommend it, especially for taco lovers—the birria is nothing short of a revelation.
Hands down the best restaurant in Lawton! Great food and atmosphere! Ask for Michael, he's absolutely the best server there!

Based on the reviews, El Toro Restaurant & Bar | Mexican is a great place for family dinners and lunch. The atmosphere is very cool, and the food and drink options are amazing. It is hard to find good Mexican food in Oklahoma, so this place stands out. The steak fajitas are great, but the chicken fajitas were dry and under seasoned. The tortillas were delicious, and the drinks were great. The service is always amazing. A server named Katie is the best bartender and server, always focused on the customer. She knows orders before customers sit down, providing a quick turn around to get back to work. She is only available during the day, so an early lunch is recommended. Ask for Katie if you choose to visit.
