I went for lunch and halfway through my meal they brought me extra food because they wanted to apologize for the first batch of shrimp being a bit overcooked. I had not said anything and it wasn’t even that bad. They were very polite. Well done on the customer service when, in today’s world, is lacking! Great job LJS of Lawton!
I like Long John Silver's but my daughter & I had lunch there yesterday and there was no ice for our drinks. No explanation! No, ice is on the way! Nothing. They really need to do an upgrade on the whole building. New restaurants are opening everywhere and LJS's better step up or ppl will choose to go elsewhere. And the staff....so unfriendly, tired looking. I felt sorry for her. They could keep it a lot cleaner too.
A long time favorite of mine. Through the years, they have changed the batter on the fried clams, and at one time it was undesirable. But now it's back to a good tasting batter. The fried fish is also excellent, reminiscent of fish and chips in England when I was a boy. The hushpuppies are well seasoned and have a nice combination of textures. The waffle fries are acceptable but a little lackluster flavor wise when compared to other items on the menu.

Long John Silver's in Lawton is highly recommended for its amazing manager Ivan, who handles any issues with ease. The staff is polite and patient, giving customers time to decide. The food is fresh, hot, and exactly what is needed after a long day. The crew provides exceptional service and recommendations for delicious meals. The customer service was excellent, and the food was good. However, the restaurant was freezing and the atmosphere was intolerable. It now costs more to feed a family, and the plates were smaller with less food on them. Orders must be picked up when a name is called.
