“Visited the Riverside Cafe this weekend. I was told that the best fried catfish in Lawton was here. After sitting on the deck at first, with its amazing view of the river and the bridge, we moved inside where our server Lacy took excellent care of us. The catfish was crunchy and tasty, while the grilled honeybun was addictive. All the side dishes were also satisfying. I also enjoyed the tree growing through the dining room.“
“Came to spend the day and was very pleasantly surprised with our meal at the old plantation. Jennifer, our server, was very tentative, answered our questions and even provided some history.Husband ordered the fried catfish sandwich in a side salad and I got a salad with salmon.Everything was seasoned very well and homemade ranch dressing was very tasty. “First time visiting Mutti's on Saturday (their 14th Anniversary!) and let me tell you...it was freaking amazing! A friend of mine had posted about this place on Facebook and we were passing through Lawton on Saturday and decided to try it. If you LOVE authentic German food, this is your new favorite place. I literally got goosebumps and a little misty-eyed as their food took me back to when I was a kid and the way my Grandma cooked. We got the Platter for two so we could try everything, and it was exceptional. I am not sure the max characters you can type for one of these reviews, but I could go on and on and probably max it out raving about this place. Service was great. Portion size was appropriate for price. We will be making the trip from Wichita Falls on a regular basis now to enjoy this hidden gem. Quit reading now and set your GPS for their address and prepare yourself for gluttony and pure joy!! You will not be disappointed.“
“This is a definite gem located right off Highway 44. The people are amazing as they are friendly, attentive and efficient. The food is flavorful and temperature is perfect. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken with potatoes are wonderful. I am from this area but have been traveling full time and this ranks at the top 3 of comfort foods. We will definitely return and if you haven’t tried this amazing place, please do so!!!!! 100% recommend !“
“All I can say is, YUM! Oh, and don't order the biscuit and gravy as a side. It's HUGE and delicious! My husband ordered me a Mexican omelet, and usually I am not an omelet fan. But this one was amazing! Needless to say, I needed a nap for my food coma after brunch. Lol!“
“The shrimp po boy is good and the Mac and cheese is good as well, it didn't have it in the recommended area for me to select so I'm telling you here! I normally go for the shrimp po boy with the Mac, the brunch burger with fries or the Mac, the BLT with fries or chips with a side of ranch, and the club with fries or chips with a side of ranch! The brunch burger comes boom boom sauce on it, the sauce is great but I always get it on the side just in case I don't want every bite with the boom boom sauce! The next thing I'm gonna try from here is the rustic pepperoni pizza! I can say this place is a great destination for an explosion of flavor to your taste buds!Parking: There's tons of parking on 3 sides of the building!“

“This place is a hidden gem of Lawton. It reminds me of a mom and pop diner back home. It’s very small but so unique. The services was great and the food was even better! I love the homemade fries. Definitely get what you pay for. I can’t wait to go back.“
“We always love the morning buffet you only pay around $14 for the buffet all you can eat and drink. They have have a variety of food from Omelets made anyway you want or you can just get fried eggs ? or scrambled, you can get all you can eat steak, biscuits and gravy, bacon ? or sausage, pancakes ? or waffles , hashbrowns, breakfast pizza ?, and so much more. You can get regular milk ? or chocolate milk, OJ, sweet or unsweetened tea , soda , water, coffee ☕️. They have fresh fruit if that's something you prefer, they have a dessert ? bar with a variety of desserts. You can get all this for the same price as going to another restaurant and paying $14 just for an Omelet and toast and hash brown. So I think it's a bargain. The restaurant is always pretty clean their staff stays on top of it and they're usually pretty quick to refill your drinks and they're always friendly. So if you're hungry or just want a variety of food to choose from cause you're not sure what you want then I highly recommend the Golden Corral and if you leave still feeling hungry then you can only blame yourself.“
“Drove from Lawton, place was packed. The young Lady at the counter was very polite and seemed to be training someone. We placed our order and She then let us know that it would be about 25-30 minutes before we would get our pizza. Apon getting our pizza she thanked us and apologized for the wait. We sat down to have some before our drive back to Lawton. And to my amazement this was the best pizza I've ever had in Oklahoma. The crust was crunchy and the cheese was hot and melted to perfection. I love the real cheese and the toppings where perfect. It just sucks I have to drive to another town to get good.... no perfect pizza. Thank you for the amazing job while under all that pressure. FYI Lawton had no power so everyone was eating out. And we will be back for somemore of this delicious pizza.Vegetarian options: They have cauliflower crust and plenty of veggies to add.Kid-friendliness: Fun and friendly staff, they even greet the kiddos.“

“First and foremost, any place that has a hiking/outdoor theme is a must stop for me! The sign out front with the hiker symbol caught my attention and I knew it would be good. And I just love the historic cobblestone look to this little place.The inside seating area is small with about 5 tables. There are tables outside as well. It is made to order style where you walk in and place your order at the kiosk. The coffee is self serve so make sure to ask for a cup. The house blend was great! The gentleman working the morning we went was kind and cheery! Service was excellent!I had a waffle with sausage gravy and an egg. Delicious! It was like biscuits and gravy, but the waffle gave it a sweeter taste. My husband had a bagel sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese - it was great!10/10 would eat here again!Parking: Parking is limited. You may have to park in the public lot a few blocks away.“
