About Waylans Kuku

Waylan's Kuku is a historic and unforgettable restaurant that has been delighting customers for nearly 25 years. The menu features classic American fare, including a juicy, perfectly cooked #1 cheeseburger, flavorful onion rings, and a delicious ice cream shake. The restaurant's owner's personal touch and the Route 66 stamp make it a unique and memorable dining experience. Despite the occasional wait, Waylan's Kuku remains a beloved stop for those traveling along the iconic Route 66. It offers a variety of menu items, such as delicious garlic cheddar bites and a tasty heath bar shake. Customers praise the burgers, which can be customized to their liking. While some have noted the burger patties could use a bit more seasoning, the overall experience at Waylan's Kuku is highly enjoyable. The restaurant is known for its welcoming atmosphere and kid-friendly environment, with ample parking available for families. It is a great little vintage restaurant, and though it could use some TLC, it remains the last of a local chain. Visitors often mention that the food was very good, with tasty burgers, fries, fried pickles, and affordable prices. The restaurant offers a nostalgic flashback to peak civilization and is a unique diner on the Mother Road. Though some visits were drive-thru only, the food quality and friendly staff continue to impress customers over the years.

Iconic Route 66 stop with great food at reasonable prices.
You have to try the Cherry Limeade! It is way better than what you could ever get at Sonic. Today we had the deluxe hamburger with cheese. All the ingredients on this burger were fresh!! There are two working drive-thrus and the close at 5pm. Good service and fresh food! We also tried the fried pickle spears - they are delicious!
Always Great food and service
