“I got a large teriyaki chicken bowl for lunch, it was a good amount of food for the price, and it tasted SO GOOD. The seating is not plentiful and laid out strange. My friend went to ask where my food was, and it was just sitting on the counter as they were running behind :/ Most of the meh reviews seem related to inconsistency in service, but the food I had was bomb, I'll definitely be back.“
“Nice, cozy restaurant. The Poke Moana bowl was very delicious. The gentleman that helped me was very sweet and very patient with me as it was my first time there and my first time having poke. The fish was fresh and delicious! The bowls are generous and very filling. The fruit tea Boba was excellent! Definitely recommend.“
“The food was spectacular and the ambiance was beautiful! My personal highlights from our dinner lineup: the Monkey Brain appetizer and the Hungry Roll. Also our server, Jenna, was patient, friendly, helpful with selections, and provided all around amazing at service! This was our first visit & I know we'll be back!“
“We visited the Lobby Bar last week. Since we live in Crown Heights its a quick and easy option for dinner. We prefer to sit at the bar vs being seated at Sushi Neko. In the evenings Sushi Neko can get very crowded and loud. Back to the bar.....drinks are good, the Cosmo wasn't quite the right color and the dirty martini had far to much vermouth for my liking. The food is always fresh and spectacular. We ordered three rolls. One had crawfish, it was an odd paring at first but the flavor was amazing. The spicey Oklahoman, I'm not sure if that's the correct name, was delish. It has just the right amount of kick to it. As always a great experience, a chill atmosphere, and great food.“
“Very fast! Staff knowledgeable about gluten free needs and quick to accommodate. Food came out fast and the atmosphere was welcoming and unique.Dietary restrictions: Waitress immediately knew everything I could have that was gluten free and was quick to bring out gluten free soy sauce without me having to specifically ask for it.“
“Wonderful meal and experience. Food was fantastic and our service both from our waiter and cook were terrific. Musashi's is a wonderful "once in a while" or special event restaurant for our family due to the prices of a meal. This was a special occasion and our family had a great experience for that occasion.“
“I really like Sushi, so does the wife. Nice thing about this place is that it's quaint, clean, service was great. Food prep was timely and done to an utmost perfection. Prices were as they were. but you getting some really good sushi and it's plenty to satisfy. Parking was a little to maneuver, but worth it in the time taken.“
“We called here at the last minute to order some sushi and they were more than accommodating. Our order was ready within 20 minutes and it was delicious. We now have a new favorite place to get sushi. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: My friend ordered fried rice and said it was quite good!“
“Tokyo Japanese Restaurant is my favorite place to eat in Oklahoma. Everything is superb. The food, the service, and the new building are excellent! When I want to treat myself, I always go there.Dietary restrictions: I am on an anti-inflammatory diet and they helped me with any questions I had with no eye rollWheelchair accessibility: I brought my 4 month old child in a strolled and sat at the high top table comfortably“
“I get takeout here all the time. They have a fantastic lunch deal. The prep time is always speedy, the food always fresh. The staff are super friendly, as well. The times I've eaten in the restaurant have always been a positive experience, as well.“
“The BEST sushi in Oklahoma, amazing staff so friendly and knowledgeable. The quality is so FRESH & DETAILED!!! Omg better than any other places I’ve been to in Edmond/OKC!! The only place I’ll go to for sushi! The eel sauce and spicy mayo, ong mouth watering!“
“Fast service, friendly workers. I had been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm so glad that I did! we got gyoza and a couple different rolls and everything was phenomenal. they are renovating the inside right now so we couldn't eat inside but we got a to-go order.Price is about on par with other sushi restaurants I have been to, although a couple of the rolls were a little bit cheaper so I was happy for that. Great little place, excited to go back soon“
“TLDR: BEST place for nigiris and sushi. One of the best places for fresh nigiris. I have tried other places in state and out of state, but no other places have beat Sakana. I love their Mackerel, Eel, King Salmon, Amberjack, Hamachi (Yellowtail) and other nigiris that are seasonal. I highly recommend you to try their nigiris. The rolls that my family and I love are the Sooner and Boulevard rolls. It's expensive but I always order again from them. I typically revisit when I'm craving sushi or when I'm celebrating something! One thing that they can work on is their rice. Occasionally the rice is too soggy or there is too much rice for the sushi or nigiri. Other than that, everything is GREAT!“
“I don’t like the fact that I order on the app and it gives me a specific pick up time but, when I get there its not even ready yet still have to wait 15-20 minutes and the Japanese guy always messes up my $5 dollar reward coupon he has no idea what he is doing. But the food is delicious.“
“Wow. Who would have thought a restaurant this nice would be in Midwest city. The hibachi is fantastic, the food is the highest quality, and we have had the owner do our hibachi several times. Cannot complain about anything. We've only gotten hibachi, so I cannot comment on the rest of the food options, but I assume they put just as much attention to detail in other options as they do their hibachi!“
