“My friend and I went in to have an appetizer and a couple of beers. The first thing that asullted our nose was the smell of a dirty ash tray in the entryway. There was not actually a dirty ash tray but that's what it smelled like. Thankfully the smell wasn't as bad when we entered the main part.We had the Chios and Queso with hb meat and salsa which was very good and 3 beers a piece. The service was good and our bartender was friendly and attentive. But he did accidentally charge us for 2 extra beers that we didn't have but he fixed the problem emediatly. So if you are a non smoker and detest the smell of cigarettes this may not be the place for you.“
“A great restaurant in our book. The food was superb. I loved the lamb potstickers. Our waiter Blake was just amazing. His wine recommendations were perfect. I loved ambiance. The paintings and tapestry on the walls also need to be mentioned I had a wonderful dinner and evening.“
“We will be regular guest! If you have not tried Frida you are missing out! The kindness of everyone at this place is incredible! Our server Morgan was outstanding! The food was worth every single penny, fresh and incredibly delicious! The carrot cake that is vegan free is awesome!“
“This food is TOP TIER SOUL NOURISHING FOOD. The chicken is crispy outside and moist inside, the shrimp is perfectly cooked, wonderfully seasoned, the fries and pasta perfectly compliment the meats. I can't wait to try more of the menu. DON'T SLEEP ON THIS PLACE.“
“My husband celebrated his birthday at “Grey Sweater” yesterday. It was an amazing culinary journey to enjoy the variety of food from practically everywhere! We sat at the counter and watched the chefs prepare beautiful delicious dishes. I didn't know what to expect with a “chef's choice” menu; however since it was a special occasion, we wanted the full experience. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff treated us as special guests. Did I mention the food was AMAZING! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My husband and I are looking forward to another visit with Grey Sweater. And hopefully next time we'll get a chance to meet Chef Andrew Black. ✌?“
“I would just like to say bravo! I hate Oklahoma but this place made me love it! I spent the whole day there and could not leave! Breakfast lunch and dinner! So ya I loved it so much and am in a plan right now just to go there. So u am so happy I went there it is the only thing I talk and think about like there lemonade is amazing and the water there is amazing! Keep safe y’all!“
“Google searched on our trip from Nebraska to Texas. The food was EXCELLENT! We ordered the orange chick’n and the Mac n cheese. Both were great, but the orange chick’n was a 10/10! We were so impressed that we had to stop again on our way back. This time I upsized to the “loaded” orange chick’n so I had enough for the next day. We also ordered the bacon cheeseburger wrap which was very good too!! Great food, portions, service and price!!Parking: There were a lot of cars parked in the area so you had to park a little ways down the street. Not too far though.“
“My wife and I went here last night for my 50th Birthday and it was great. When my wife and I come here we always have the cake first like an appetizer. We both think its the best and the reason we go, so lets take the salmon home and enjoy the cake now. Life's short eat dessert first. Alisa was our waitress and she was on point. She was very personable, pleasant, helpful, and a reason i will return and recommend Whiskey Cake to our friends. I chose Whiskey Cake and the food and Alisa did not disappoint. Thanks for a great evening.“
“I just visited Flower Child for the first time yesterday. The service was outstanding - friendly & helpful. The food was probably one of the better meals I've had in a very long time. My mom & I split a wrap and a salad. All ingredients were fresh & thoughtfully put together. I loved the clean, fresh, & laid back vibe. I highly recommend this place!“
“This place is amazing! We had the pickle plate and hot rolls with miso butter and they were so good! We shared the duck dumplings, potato salad, pork chops and pasta. We loved everything! I can’t believe we haven’t been here before. We will definitely be back.“
“My wife and I went on Friday, 1/6/22. Apart from being a dining experience, this was also half art installation and half magic show. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was presented beautifully and the colors and textures (and aromas) were quite pleasing. Each course was served by a chef or member of staff who explained the ingredients and flavor profiles. They were all knowledgeable and seemed, justifiably, proud of what they were doing. The chefs served three courses with ingredients I normally detest, butternut squash and beets. The winter tartlet and a savory custard both included the squash and they were amazing! The beet came with the tenderloin course and it was so smoky and sweet, I got a little verklempt.Because it's a tasting menu, the courses are smaller then an average main; we had the 10-course menu and left satisfied and very full. The Focaccia and the Tendeloin courses could have been a meal all on their own. I don't drink, so I skipped the wine pairings, but I learned that they offer a non-alcoholic pairing and I regret not trying it.The dessert course were life affirming. There was a Tea & Snack course with spiced beef tea and aebelskivers which almost made my wife cry (in a good way). The apple sorbet was gorgeous! It was like biting into a green apple, tart followed by sweet. The color and textures were beautiful. This was a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive and kind and seemed invested in what they were doing. The room is small, but I didn't feel cramped and had no issues having a conversation with my wife. Our seats were right next to the kitchen and it was a treat to watch the chefs at work.Standouts, for me, were the Sunchoke with miso and apple and the Bok Choy with tofu and mushroom. I was delighted with our evening and can't wait to return.“
“A very chill environment with pleasant staff and delicious tacos. I tried 4 tacos: The Fried Taco, Birria, Brisket Burnt Ends, and the Baja Fish. We went during Happy Hour so tacos were half price! They mentioned the tacos are half price all day on Tuesdays. We tried the Chicken Flautas to start off and they are the best Flautas I have ever had! Thick n crispy and well filled! The tacos were all great! Four was too much food for me, I should have gotten three, considering we had the Flautas as well. I would say Fried Taco and Birria were my top 2. I normally don't care for Flautas, but dang, I'd eat a meal of those, definitely a highlight of the meal!!“
“first off by this may be considered a dive bar the service and the food is out of this world. Make sure you have your big boy pants on when you eat the green chili Verde. It is out of this world, but has a little bit of heat. Hannah the bartender is awesome! #eatlocal #lowcountrycajun“
“I always love this place.Parking: I always end up having to park a block away in a residential area to get here, because the parking on 23rd is bad anyway...Kid-friendliness: I took my toddler with us once and they were so sweet. There's a kid's menu and he got a crush, ie kept staring and giggling around our waitress.“
“FANTASTIC!! Friendly atmosphere, welcoming decor, excellent service, great variety of draft beers and the best hot wings I have EVER had! Husband had the Turkey/Croissant sandwich and loved it. Great location in midtown, away from the crazy parking challenges of Bricktown. Fair prices too.“
“This place was more than impressive! You have to give this place a try. The lower level is a speakeasy, the enterance level is a bar and dining area, and the upper level has a golf simulator. We stayed on the dining level as we had plans afterward for a comedy show, but we want to return to get the full experience of The Joinery! My boyfriend and I shared the Warm Crab Dip and Chip for an appetizer. I got the Braised Short Rib, which comes with goat cheese ravioli, and my bf got the Blackened Salmon. The bacon jam on top of the Blackened Salmon really ties it together, so delicious! The richness of the goat cheese ravioli with the savory flavors in the bone marrow bordelaise sauce paired so well together with the Braised Short Rib. All the food was phenomenal! The drinks were also tasty.“
“Yummy! We got two flavored coffees, both pretty good but definitely could've been stronger. I got one of the recommended meals by our waiter. It was a biscuit with meat in a very light sauce on top. My fiancé got tomato soup with half a sandwich and he was super happy. The environment here it's really cute and it's a fun place to walk around outside.“
“My wife and son are Gluten-free and to see the smile on their face to eat fried chicken and steak was so emotional. They got dessert too. I can't thank Red Rooster enough!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free free options that are delicious!“
“Decided to test the dining facility after years of not eating there. Going back as a TSgt when my last meal there was an A1C brought back some pretty good memories. Some of the staff from almost 10 years ago is still there and recognized me. Great people. The food hasn't changed a whole heck of a lot, but any change that has happened has been positive. Glad they finally have a card reader so you don't have to pay cash, though. That's what kept me from going back sooner. It's a non-profit dining facility, so expect to save quite a bit of money if you choose to eat here. Depending on which items you choose, you can have a healthy full meal for about 4 to 5 bucks!“
“This was one of the best vegetarian meals I've ever had! The tofu tacos, YUM, the rice, the beans, the CORN and the guacamole were so fresh and light and packed with flavor. So many delicious options! I wish we had one of these in Rhode Island.“
