Mom got choked, and the staff was there within seconds, trying to assist her, as well as an ER Nurse, who was checking her vitals. “I've visited many spots in Norman and for the most part, each place was nice and have decent selections, but Sooner Daiquiri Bar & Grill was the first place in Norman that we lost track of time. Howanda is a Riot! We Love her! And those Wings! The Don Sauce Wings gave my Tried and True Honey Mustard Wings a run for it's money which we tried side by side per Howanda's suggestion. This will be our fourth time going back.“

To start, we ordered the queso. The flavors were well-balanced, and the cheese was perfectly melted, making it an excellent appetizer choice. As for the main course, I chose the blackened shrimp tacos, and they were very good. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning to create a burst of flavors in each bite. I was impressed with this dish and would recommend it to others. My wife opted for the Cali club sandwich with a side of fried okra, and she was pleased with her choice. The sandwich had a delightful combination of flavors. The fried okra added a nice crunchy touch to the meal, and she thoroughly enjoyed the entire plate. For dessert, we indulged in the funnel cake fries, and they were the perfect way to end our meal. The warm, crispy goodness of the funnel cake combined with the sprinkled powdered sugar made for a delicious treat that left us feeling satisfied. The service throughout the evening was commendable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed to have a pleasant dining experience. Overall, our visit to Louie's Grill & Bar was a success, thanks to the tasty food, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service. We will certainly be returning to this establishment in the future to try out more of their enticing menu options. “Pleasant cozy atmosphere, with a great mix of races and ethnicities. They have two pool tables a general seating area where karaoke takes place and a darts area. I even seen a couple playing cards at their table while drinking beer and enjoying the room.“

▪ Restaurant: Clean, but surprisingly small considering the size of the casino and foot traffic.
▪ Menu: Limited, but I actually liked that—it had a good selection without being overwhelming.
▪ Pub Burger (no bun): Very good and cooked perfectly! Could use a little more seasoning.
▪ Green Beans: Just okay and needed more seasoning.
▪Chicken Tenders: Excellent!
▪ Cole Slaw: Very good.
▪ Fries: Bland and mushy inside.
▪ Sweet & Unsweet Tea: Both good.

Overall, the food was good. A little more seasoning on a few items would make it even better. We’d eat here again!“
