Will I drive 30 minutes each way just for a kolache? Yes. Will I pretend it’s “for the family” while eating one in the car before I get home? Also yes.

The donuts? Excellent. My family devoured them and demanded more.

But for me, this place is now a kolache shrine. Five stars and one extremely satisfied non-sweets guy.“

“I actually ordered DoorDash from Shipleys and that’s what prompted my review. I’ve been going there since they opened and I’ve never received fresher food or better service than I just did with my delivery.

I left notes for some specific flavors for my donuts and then told them to surprise me with the rest. Not only did they include my requests but their picks were great too. They even went as far as to leave a personalized note on the box and include a couple extra picks.

As always the Koloches were delicious and the coffee does the trick.
