“This place is tied with Kitchen 21 for the best, highest-quality, most flavorful Thai food in the Norman-Moore area. The lunch specials are legit, and they have kept their prices under control. Friendly staff, too.Vegetarian options: Thai food has fish sauce as a flavor in a lot of dishes. So, if that still fits with your definition of vegetarian, you can get everything as a veggie-only option, I think.“
“First visit was for a Friday lunch and it was as good as it gets! Thomas was the most attentive and polite server we've had at a restaurant in a long time. The food was perfectly prepared with many options, and the portions were huge! We're now fans! Looking forward to the next time!“
“The food here is the best in town. Every dish I’ve tried has been good. The papaya salad is excellent and their wings have been the best I’ve eaten. I highly recommend eating at this authentic Lao/ Thai restaurant.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options“
“Hubby and I ate here for lunch. We both ordered the lunch special. I had the Pad Thai/Stir fry Garlic pork and Massaman curry chicken special. The pad Thai was bittersweet, so a mild balance of the flavors was created. The Garlic pork had a nice balance of meat and veggies. The massaman curry chicken was slightly on the spicy side, but I loved the mix of white and sweet potatoes in this dish. The egg roll was crispy, but I would have preferred it to be just a tad bit warmer and not room temp. Overall, the experience was pleasant and the service was excellent.Vegetarian options: You can order your meal with tofu or extra veggies.“
“A special place for me. Have been eating here since I discovered it in 2007 when I lived in norman. I come to norman from ardmore usually once a month and stop back in frequently. Has always been a fantastic place. From the outside its very quaint but there is a culinary experience taking place inside every day. Started bringing my wife here in 2016. Now it has become our special occasion place for new years or anniversary. Although sometimes I randomly drive an hour just to bring some back home! Thank you sweet basil for your excellence year after year. You are more than a restaurant to this Oklahoman.!“
“This was my first time ordering here. While I had a weird encounter with online ordering (don’t go through google, their website is the best option) the staff was super kind and very empathetic with me and got my order out super quick. I will be coming back, thank you :)“
“Service...very pleasant.Food...very A M A Z I N GAtmosphere...vibrant..The booths are large and comfortable. Tables are available. The thai curry puffs ( think samosas but much better due to the puff pastry ) are hand-crafted on site.My wife had the Northern thai noodle soup and her eyes rolled back in her head with satifaction. My Evil Jungle chicken curry was so so bad...( in the best way ) Sorry panang...not even close!Despite it being our anniversary..we never spoke or made eye-contact until they brought us a complimentary anniversary dessert...brownie bites with whipped cream..with heart shaped strawberry slices arranged on top...these surrounded a double scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce dribbled all over.Despite reaching slight discomfort due to the feeding frenzy...we refused to waste a bite of dessert...we barely made it home....looks like the romantic end to our anniv will have to wait till tomorrow....unless of course we find ourselves back "pho" more..OMG....we can't wait to return!“
“I ordered Door Dash, but due to the fact that I'm a Google reviewer, I had to come and check out Google reviews. This food was so freakin good, and still piping hot with Doordash. The ingredients were fresh and I'm so full, it's time for a nap.“
“It’s NOT your typical hole in the wall restaurant. To be honest, the bench seat booths aren’t too comfortable, but they do the job.TRUST ME ON THIS….GO HERE FOR THE FOOD!!!Spring Rolls to start and I opted for the Sweet and sour chicken, with a pineapple curry. My eating partner started with dumplings and continued with a chicken cashew dish…..for each each dish they asked what level of ‘heat’ you wanted them to come with…… let me tell you….SERVICE AND FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING!!!Credit where it’s due boys and girls…DO NOT MISS THIS ONE.FANTASTIC ?I’ll be returning OVER AND OVER.“
“I normally don’t leave reviews but I had to. I appreciated the fact that when I asked for my food to be as spicy as possible they gave me just that!Usually when I ask places to make it extremely spicy they still give me a watered down version of spice. Will be returning. Umami and spiciness was top tier!!“
“The food was absolutely delicious! The green curry was perfect! The lady working is so sweet and they take pride in their dishes. Please stop and give them some love. The outside and even inside of the building doesn’t look like much, don’t let that make your decision on the food or the service. If I lived in town I would eat here at least once a week.“
“We were reluctant to come here because they only have 33 reviews. We're glad we took our chance. It's probably one of the best Thai restaurants we'd been to. The sever forgot some of the items but we were so food and the food was so delicious that we didn't mind. 10 out 10 recommend this place!“
“Pretty darn good. I loved the curry bowl named after the restaurant panang. Wasn't too spicy, and the calamari was good also. They automatically charge 19 percent for a party of 7 or more, which was the only negative for me, especially when 2 of the 7 were children and did not order anything. If everyone ate, I would understand. I will still return, only with fewer people!“
“We were in town visiting. This place was close to our hotel & we gave it a try. They were very knowledgeable Celiac disease & gave us gluten free choices. Our server was a precious young lady that went above & beyond for us. The portions are huge. We look forward to going back when we are in town next month.“
“While driving through OK, we found this place. Hard to eat healthy/decent food on the road. This was great! Food was super fresh, great tasting and just the right amount. Lunch specials are $8-12. I had beef broccoli (ate some before I took a picture). Opted for level 2 heat (out of 5) and it was plenty spicy. I'm not sure that I could handle any spicier (and I eat hot sauce on my food regularly). If you like Thai food, I'd highly recommend this restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options“
“My sister in arms took me here for a girls night dinner and I was impressed. Once in the building it's like being transported somewhere else entirely... there's different beautiful live plants throughout and they even have live birds that fly around and they place has aromatherapy diffusers through out so the place smells like mint and is a very calming atmosphere. The food was very delicious. The serving size is very plentiful I'm sure between my sister and I we had enough food to feed a family of four and still have leftovers. The service was very helpful and I would most definitely be going back and highly recommend this jewel of a place.10/10??“
“Typically, I'm not a Thai type of person but some co-workers in another state took me to a place and suggested I try a meal. I was hooked. In the Moore area, this is the only place I go for Thai. When you enter, you're greeted with a very clean, traditional and friendly environment where the staff immediately tends to you. The staff is always courteous and quick with anything you need. The food is made fresh and fast, the spice levels are 0 through 3. I've found they're careful and always ask what spicy level you like as well, which is very helpful for those that aren't familiar with Thai. I like decently hot food so I made the mistake of trying a 2 my first time there. Whoo, that was a long meal and I was thankful I ordered it for takeout. Apparently I'm a wimp and now I order a 1. And for those that don't like spicy, just say 0 (zero) when they ask and you'll have no issues.I've turned my extended family onto Pailin Thai as well and it's become a favorite for date nights or take out for a movie night at home. For those that are considering Thai but haven't, try their Pad Thai. That's Noodles, some greens, chicken and some crushed peanuts on top. Nice and simple, no surprises and it's filling.“
