“When I walked in at 1:30 today, the short, dark haired lady with glasses who was working the register immediately looked at the clock on the wall. Then the waitress immediately told us that they close at 2:00, which we already knew. We placed our order and as we finished eating at 1:50, they started vacuuming 2 booths away, which made it difficult to carry on a conversation with a friend at the table next to us. How can you be so rude to your customers and make them feel so unwelcome? If your staff wants to be out of there at 2:00 sharp, maybe they should lock the doors at 1:30. Next time I’ll go to Dixie diner.”

This is your classic burger joint from times that were far better than the current ones. They make stuff to order. No patties stacked up on the griddle and moved to the hot side when you order. Made FRESH. And it is good. They have classic burgers all the way to house specialty burgers. They cut their own fries and ribbon potatoes like at the fair! The staff was super friendly and polite. “Excellent catfish dinner. I chose the all-you-can-eat dinner. It was $2 more than the regular catfish dinner. You can choose fried or grilled. I chose the grilled. You get three sides and a roll.

Service was excellent, and so was the food. My total bill with an ice tea was $18.64 . This was the best stop that I just happened upon. It was next to a gas station that I had pulled into for a fill-up. The restaurant parking lot was full, so I gave it a try. I'm glad I did.”

I love salt, so if it’s salty for me, I can’t imagine how lip-puckering it might be for a non-salt lover. Both times I had the fajita chicken and the queso blanco, so if they could dial back the salt on these, they’d get 5 stars from me.”

Also the fact that the owner is very sweet, down to earth, and has a pleasant countenance makes the whole place very attractive to frequent. I'm glad I had a chance to meet her and talk to her. My little one loved it all too. Dine in or cater. Worth it. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.”

I just don't understand why you serve prosciutto and Genoa with cheddar and not Italian cheeses like provolone. I would like to see some rotation of your staple items on the buffet. The rice, lobster bisque, tilapia, (think Chicken Piccata or Marsala.). Maybe, rotate with some different kinds of rice, baby bakers, different chowders, and lentil soups.I skipped a lot on my second visit because it was boring, bland. And redundant.The service was great ? we will be back.Expect to spend about $100 apiece for a satisfying experience. oh, one more thing...
