the order taker is fairly rude but I still wanted to see how it measured up to other bbq places. Not good, the mac n cheese is cold & gloppy while the brisket & pulled pork have NO flavor...no salt, no pepper nothing. I also ordered the burnt ends & they had great flavor but a wee bit chewy. Would I go back....i doubt

Some of the best BBQ that I know of. The guy is friendly, food is great, and he gives out his food fast and hot. Never disappointed with this place. 10/10
As a native Virginian I always thought of BBQ as 'slopped pork in sauce'. Then I mved to Texas and learned about smoked brisket, one of my favorite meals of all. Outside of Texas its hard to find really good brisket. Billy Sims is good but not great. Then I happened to stop into PJ's in Newcastle, and chaching, just perfect and the price reasonable. Skip the sides and buy a pound of brisket, then thank me. I'll be back.

JP's has never been a disappointment.Large portions, probably the BEST burnt ends I have ever eaten. RIBS....Delicious, Brisket....Delicious, the corn....Delicious. Baked potato is always perfect.EAT here......you will not be sorry. ??
