“These cookies are delicious- rather expensive but delicious. I paid extra for the “happy birthday” packaging which consisted of a small stuck on bow and a “Happy Birthday” sticker. I thought there would be more- like maybe the cookies set on top of confetti colored tissue-or colored tissue- to make it look special. I won’t “splurge” on that extra again. The employees at this store do not seem very happy.“

“The absolute BEST bakery in Edmond, and maybe even the state!! The owner has been such a joy to work with. We came to her with a special family recipe requested by my fiancé. We had tried dozens of other bakeries, many saying that it can't be done, or they attempted, and it tasted off. None of them could really come close. We were beginning to lose hope. Until we came to Sweet Friends Bakery!! The owner, Nicole is the only one who as ever come close to making our family recipe, a Banana Nut Cake. It's an unusual request for a wedding cake, and she not only agreed to do it for us, but she did it perfectly. We are also getting a variety of cupcakes for the wedding! That was the first thing I noticed about them! They have one of the largest cupcake varieties I have EVER seen! And they are SO good! We have been dealing with a family member who is losing a battle to a terminal illness. So it's made planning a little bit hectic, and it's been really hard some days. The Owner is one of the nicest people I have ever worked with, and she is really talented at what she does. Her bakery items, especially her cake and cupcakes not only taste amazing, but they are so beautiful. You can tell she really enjoys what she does, and puts love into the food she makes. Their shop is also so cute! They sell local flowers, candles, and other food items besides just sweets! And they sell amazing coffee too, because coffee always pairs so well with sweets.“

Their unique blend of Asian and French baking styles offers a creative and diverse selection of treats that stand out in both flavor and presentation. For those with gluten intolerance, I highly recommend their Flower Macarons made with meringue or their fruit-flavored mousse cakes—both are delicious and gluten-friendly. We tried the mango mousse cake yesterday and were so impressed that we returned today. While the mango was sold out, the peach ended up being even better. Nothing like settling in to a hard booth with a hot cup of questionable coffee, a pack of Camels, and disapproving stares to enjoy a long evening of banter and tomfoolery with delinquents of all kinds. Like a cozy dive bar for shiftless teens and the random townsfolk who occasionally tolerated them. And when our welcome had long since worn out and our coffee funds had withered - off to the parking lot for further hijinx and the (more than) occasional visit from law enforcement. “I was gifted this bread by one of the owners. I had the German Rye and the Honey Wheat (plus the granola). This bread does not disappoint! The German Rye was so delicious with a hint of tang. We paired it with different flavors of cream cheese and it was so good! I had planned to make patty melts, but it didn’t last long enough, we couldn’t stop eating it. The honey wheat was toasted and we tried different butters. This was very good, as well. The granola, well you have to try it, but I will let you in on a secret…it was amazing, too! If you are in downtown Oklahoma City, stop in their store. They have featured breads of the day, so many items, and owners are wonderful people. I would definitely recommend this place!“

“Hi my name is Nathalia. I live in Indiana, my mom lives in Moore, OK. I contacted Dietra on the day of my mothers birthday to see if she could whip something up and deliver it to my moms work which was about 10 min from her place of business. We decided on a vanilla cake. Even though she only had around 1 hr 1/2 to make it before my mom was off of work, she accepted the challenge taking her time on preparing the cake as she would any other cake, putting the love, thought and every detail into decorating the cake for my moms 79th. I would’ve been ok if she would’ve just whipped something up so my mom would have a sweet treat. What I didn’t expect is that she would offer to hand deliver it to my mom’s house, 30 min away, since she wasn’t going to finish the cake before my mom got off work. Dietra made my mom’s birthday a success! My mom was surprised and loved the cake so much she invited family and friends over to enjoy the cake with her ❤️

“I met Lan a little over a week ago. I was in a bind and needed 19 dozen cookies for our Beacon Homes company banquet. My lady fell through. She was amazing. I just cant say enough about her or the cookies!! So so sweet and kind and took on the 19 dozen with only a few days to prepare!! She got them done on time. Sometimes these types of beautiful sugar cookies are really pretty but don't taste great. These cookies were stunning and tasted sooooo good. I will definitely be ordering from Lan again.“
