“Really enjoyed this place for my stay in the area and came back multiple times. Hot honey chicken was great, fried pickles, burger was really good - was able to try 2 different ones. Good quality food, many great options and good service. You can also get an incredible salad here and fresh salmon, that others in my party had.“
“I went here with a few friends and we had a great time. I can't recall the name of the lady who helped us but she was very pleasant and helpful. It was the first time for some of us and she did an amazing job teaching us proper throwing techniques and safety. If you ever find yourself in Norman OK this is a great place to spend a hour throwing axes and drinking beer.“
“An Italian classic in Norman Oklahoma . Easily the best Italian restaurant in Oklahoma . The food is authentic Italian, with a variety of tasty options like the beef bolognese fresh pasta al forno , the seafood pasta , mushroom rigatoni . or the veal Parmesan. All served hot and in good portions .Wine selection is very solid .Atmosphere is inviting with indoor and outdoor seating . Nice bar area and seating .Service is courteous and friendly.Plenty of parking .You can stay late so don’t pay attention to the closing time at 9 pm . People stay until 10:30 +“
“Super chill yet deliciously amazing authentic Mexican food right across the street from OU campus. Counter top ordering, and very very sizable portions with even better price points. Quite an extensive selection of tequila too! Make sure you visit this place for lunch/dinner or a drink!“
“We enjoyed our meals at Das Boot Camp tonight. I had the Reuben Sandwich and homemade potato chips. My daughter had the Swiss schnitzel and spätchel. My grandson had French fries and chicken strips. Our food was excellent, and so was the service.A special thank you goes to Das Boot Camp for donating a portion of tonight's sales to Pike Off OTA!!!!!!None of us in Oklahoma want to lose our homes and property to OTA's land grabbers to help them get richer.Kid-friendliness: Coloring sheet and two crayons provided - thank you!“
“P&P is top notch. If you're looking for a smooth, rich espresso pulled by a real barista and not a FiveBucks burnt shot covered with sweet syrup, you've come to the right place. Pick up some Greek treats while you're there. ?“
“Nice restaurant right of the highway. The service was great. Atmosphere was what you may expect for a fish base place. Lots of taxidermy and such. Generic seating. The acoustics are a bit much, probably due to the metal wall attributes. The food was freshly prepared and surprisingly inexpensive. Two meals for under $30. A large variety of side options, including fried Ocra. The chicken salad sandwich was refreshing. It was a nicely blended amount of nuts, chicken, dressing, etc. Onion rings seemed to be freshly battered and fried as well. The fish dinner was generic, however. No stand-out flavors. I would recommend this place, it's definitely better than what you would expect at this price point!“
“University cities often have that old town-and-gown dichotomy going on, and Norman OK is no different. It’s like that old Venus-and-Mars thing used to describe the differences between men and women.I found myself in Norman (home of OU) to shoot photos of two old theatres, and naturally worked up a thirst. Beer Is Good (BIG) is located in the traditional downtown part of Norman, more than a mile from campus. And it took me a New York second to quickly realize I was among locals, not the campus community. The brewery (I never once saw a wort kettle or fermenter) looks and feels more like a tavern, which is fine. It works. The place was decked out in a Nightmare Before Christmas motif, and the big screens showed Texas destroying OSU in football. I’m betting everyone in there was rooting for Texas, if only because of the OU/OSU rivalry.I went with a flight, as is my M.O. They had enough IPAs to do four in a row, starting with Road To El Dorado SMASH (6.6%ABV), and continuing with Clockwork Orange Juice (6.8%ABV), Real Fake Limes (8.6%ABV), and Straight Outta Compton (8.3%ABV). They were all approachable IPAs, each with unique flavor profiles. But it was the Compton that piqued my curiosity, its subtle malty finish raising my eyebrows in a delightful way. It is no small feat to brew hop-forward yet malt on the back side; I ordered a pint of it, again my standard procedure. Best-in-flight deserves a pint of its own. I enjoyed my visit. The crowd was much more sedate than what you would expect in a college town. Two thumbs up.“
“Norman's best kept secret! Talk about friends in low places lol.. This little dive bar has a regular clientele and staff that will pull you into its folds and make you feel at home. Everyone is friendly! Its a clean dive bar/biker bar atmosphere with plenty of free parking in the back, a fantastic bar, 3 well kept pool tables and equipment (free on Mondays), darts, and karaoke on some nights.Come as you are!(I suggest using the entrance behind the bar off of Tecumseh road instead of the Porter entrance)“
“Took the family to get some burgers.Got the mont burger, yum. Good solid burger at a good price. Onion rings And fries were good as well.Staff was friendly and patience (i asked a lot of questions). If it's a nice day you can sit outside.Parked one building over and walked in.Good stuff, enjoy!“
“The food and drinks were really nice! The staff was super friendly, and overall, the place is just super relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. The pretzel was delicious, and I'd highly recommend the Chicken Alfredo Pizza if you stop by. 10/10 experience, and this place is definitely becoming a regular dinner spot.“
“Always a fun place to go. It's non smoking so I really like that.Vegetarian options: They have chips and homemade salsa. French fries and salads.Parking: Easy street parking also in the back parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Can get in the front door easily. No steps in the front.“
“Personally I would recommend their wonton's that has been a winner the few times I have attended this place. They seem to have great pool leagues, Do not let that fact keep you from attending even in the day time they have great food and better service. The selection of alcohol and beer is fairly good not too many beers on tap unless it's a weekend and the other side is open. Awesome crowds that are friendly from out of Towner to home town folks. Smoking is outside which is a bonus! Leave a great tip bc these girls know how to mix a dink.“
“I just went in for a drink and realized this place offers food on the menu. So, I haven't eaten there before. Next time we'll figure out a way to do everything in one day.Parking: It was fine, no problem there.Dietary restrictions: Diabetic diet“
“In from out of town, I went in the early evening for dinner and very much enjoyed the fresh wings and BLAT salad while having a great conversation with one of the owners. Love what they've done with the place, and highly recommend checking them out!“

“I stayed here for 4 nights in RM 232 in late April of 2023. I came to Norman to visit my hometown and my alma mater. This hotel is located very close to the intersection of South University Blvd. and White Street. It is about 200 yards from the entrance to the North Oval entrance on Boyd to the OU Campus. The hotel just opened this past fall according to the staff. IIt is a brand new building that has just over 100 hotel rooms, a sports bar, and a restaurant. The hotel rooms are on the 2nd., 3rd, and 3th floor. The sports bar is on the 2nd floor while the restaurant is on the first floor. There are two ways into the hotel. The one from South University Blvd or the front goes into the restaurant section. The main entrance is on the south side of the building through the main driveway. The lobby is very nice and spacious considering the other hotels in Norman. The registration desk is right in front of you upon entering the main door. The stairs to the 2nd floor at least are to the right of the it. You can not miss them. It also leads to the sports bar which is only open on certain days of the week. Upon landing on the 2nd floor I turned right to to come to a card access door to reach the rooms on this floor. Then I used the same card to access my room. Both doors are tap the badge reader type. Upon entering my room the bathroom was on the left with a sliding door. Inside the bathroom the shower is on the left, the toilet straight ahead of you, and the sink with a very wide and deep countertop with a single wide sink. The shower and sink area came with luxury comlimentary like shampoo, conditioner, etc.. The bathroom is very spacious. You can easily have 2 people in there at the same time. I would guess it is about 7 feet between the shower and the sink side. The lighting in the bathroom I think is descent. Not makeup table bright but good. Passing the bathroom you come to the bedroom. Along the right side is a good table/counter with the flatscreen TV(around 50 inch) on it. Along the back wall is a window with roll up window curtains. There is also a sofa chair olong the wall. THe other wall were the 2 queen beds with a very good size night stand with lots of space on top for both beds. There is a 2 plug-in electrical outlet just aboe the nightstand. There is a wall mounted light between the beds that is more like a reading lamp. Not strong light. Interestingly there is no phone in the room. Makes sense since everyone uses cellphone now. On the other wall is a amour(sp?). A modern square one with one half for hangingg things. I would say you can hang about 3-5 suits in that portions. The other half is like shoebox size compartment you can put shoes or whatever in. I saw an ironing board inside as well as an umbrella. I did not see an iron in there. Maybe somewhere else in the room or get it from the main desk. Next to the amour is a shelved piece where you can find glasses, cups, along with I think were coffee/tea. Not sure. In the lower half of this piece is a refrig which I used quite a bit. The room is spacious by average hotel room types. About 5 feet between the beds. 3-4 feet on both sides of each bed, and the same in front of the beds at least. This is the open space around the room People can easily get around. The main drawback I saw in the room was lighting, esp. in the hallway from the main door to the bedroom. There is no lighting in that area. The room overall is dim unless you open the window. Nonetheless I could live with it but if someone wants strong lighting at night you might have a problem. I ate in the hotel's restaurant one night. I had the salmon which they say is their most populpar. It is good. They put what seems like a very light smokey and sweet BBQ sauce on it. I usually like my fish fresh and not spiced or sweetened and found this intriguing. I thought it was worth getting. It appears they bring their meals a la carte. It was just fish and little else. There was no side options with the meail. They did have appetizers of salad and some other items. They also had some desserts. I had a sm“
“I recently had the pleasure of experiencing an unforgettable night at Nompton the best bar in town. From the moment I walked in, the lively ambiance and chic decor set the stage for an exceptional evening. The extensive drink menu showcased a carefully crafted selection of cocktails, each a masterpiece in its own right. The skilled bartenders demonstrated not only their mixology prowess but also a genuine passion for their craft. Whether it was a classic concoction or a custom creation, every drink was a symphony of flavors. What truly sets Nompton apart is the attentive and friendly staff. The service was impeccable, creating an inviting atmosphere that made me feel like a valued guest. The bartenders were not only knowledgeable but also eager to recommend drinks based on individual preferences. The live music added another layer to the experience, enhancing the vibrant energy of the place. The talented musicians curated a playlist that complemented the mood, creating a perfect backdrop for conversations or simply enjoying the night. The attention to detail extended to the presentation of the drinks and the overall aesthetic of the bar. It's clear that the owners have invested time and effort into creating a space that balances sophistication with a relaxed vibe.Nompton isn't just a bar; it's a destination for those seeking a premium nightlife experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or unwinding after a long day, this establishment delivers on every front. I wholeheartedly recommend Nompton to anyone in search of the epitome of a fantastic bar experience in our town.“
“My husband and I have been dining at Chili's for years. We've never paid more than 65 dollars for two meals and 2 alcoholic beverages ever...until last night. While it has been a month or so since we've eaten there, i was shocked to see how much your prices have increased. And the fajita meat you've been using for the prices you charge isn't worth it. This is enough to discourage us from dining out as we can't afford almost 100 dollars for 2 meals.“
“I went for the first time with my children 3 days ago and we loved everything, the food, the service and everything was very good, the waitress was always attentive, everything was very clean and they didn't delay our food, they brought it quickly, what we loved most was the Guacamole was super delicious and of course I recommend the place, I would return to this restaurant with my children again ?“
“Our server seemed inexperienced, and I almost forgot to pay because she never brought the check, but my steak was very good and the overall experience, as always, was just what I want: a solid menu in a quiet, pleasant, sunny place suitable for a long conversation. It's the only such lunch place I have found in Norman.“
“best bar in norman! this place is super fun for a gameday or a night on the weekend with friends. The staff is super kind, and even helped me with an uncomfortable situation. no questions asked. shoutout to the bouncer Jeff! I will definitely be returning.“
“Stopped in here for the Decades Beer scavenger hunt thing the other night. Loved it, met John the bartender, he was really nice. We'll be putting this place on the list next time we are in town. Good priced drinks, pool tables as well.“
“This is such a cool and amazing place. Friday and Saturday the DJ for karaoke is the best. Just a really cool guy that encourages everyone to have fun. And Patch, the bartender, is awesome. This dude makes up countless delicious drinks on the fly. He has a great personality as well. One of our favorite places to visit. Love the free pool on Sunday and Monday ?“
