“I highly recommend the Prohibition Lounge for an event. They provide a fun atmosphere, excellent service, and fantastic food.

We held a rehearsal dinner here last weekend, which I planned from another state. JR Hurley and his team are great to work with. He listened to what we wanted and provided helpful suggestions. We reserved the whole place. It’s ideal for a party of 50 or fewer guests. They brought in some additional tables and chairs to suit our event. We played our own music over the sound system and had a personalized slideshow running on one of the three big screen TVs. The Prohibition Lounge has a fun vibe with twinkle lights and seasonal decor, and we added our own table decorations.

We opted for a buffet service. When our guests arrived, hot appetizers were ready to go. We sampled the spinach dip, Italian queso, and meatballs. Everything was delicious and disappeared!

Once the appetizers were gone, they kept the buffet full with a variety of pizzas. I liked everything I tried, which included the spicey prosciutto (which has a tasty combination of prosciutto, jalapeños and honey), meat lovers, BBQ chicken, and white chicken pie. In addition, they have a house made ranch dressing which was great for dipping.

We wrapped up our meal with hot cinnamon doughnut balls, which were the perfect ending to a delicious meal.

JR was attentive to our gluten free guests, serving a pizza with a GF crust (which is available on their standard menu) and also serving GF triangles (made from their GF pizza crust) to dip in the appetizers. The ranch is also GF.

You won’t be disappointed if you book an event at the Prohibition Lounge. The staff is friendly and easy to work with, the atmosphere is celebratory, and the food is fabulous. Several of our guests commented that they will return to eat at the Prohibition Lounge when visiting Norman in the future.“

“Ordered for delivery and the food was delivered extremely fast and the order was correct.
Young man who delivered the food was respectful and tolerant of my yappy dog chasing him to the drive.
I delivered pizza back in the 80s and know how people can be about tipping the driver and just being jerks. It's a difficult job that people can be dismissive of but it was raining last night and I was appreciative. I show appreciation with cash, as should every customer imo. The delivery charge I am sure does not go to the driver so tip you cheap asses who don't.

I live in Lawton and I frequent this establishment. Every time I come to Norman.

Fantastic pie always consistent , never any bread, bubbles where cheese should be evenly covered, generous toppings, even good leftover the next day.

I used to live in Norman and this place is always nostalgic for me , how many independently own pizza places are still going after more than 25 years?

If you live in Norman and you haven’t been to this place, I suggest you get you some !!!!!“

“We love Mod Pizza! This is a pizza joint a la Subway style which works really well. You order a crust by size and that is the price you pay regardless of how many toppings. They also have cauliflower crust as well as a "gluten friendly" option. You go down the counter and get whatever toppings you desire. There are a variety of sauces and toppings to add to your order. When they call your name you pickup up your pizza fresh out of the oven. You can also order a salad off the menu or build-you own. The quality ingredients are all fresh. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the wait time from order to table is very short. Very efficiently managed. The company is very community minded and I love their hiring philosophy. “First time for me at this location. I ordered a chicken club sandwich that was going to take 10mins, so I told the guy I was gonna go sit in my truck and would be back in about 10. About 8mins pass by and he’s walking my sandwich out to my truck to hand me in person!!! He was so kind and really went the extra mile. My receipt says his name is Jacob. THANKS JACOB! You made my day. Hard to find people who have great customer service these days(unless you’re at Chick-fil-A) ? PS..sandwich was yummy too!“

“Pizza is great. They have hot and ready slices, but a small kitchen so if they are busy and you want to order something you will have a wait. They don't always do the same specials as full size places but they often have specials you can't find online. Call or walk in. They make a quality pie!

Parking: Small awkward parking lot because the Godfathers is inside of the Love's gas station and right on a busy part of Green Avenue, the main drag in Purcell.“

However, they got my pizzas out quickly once they'd realized there was an issue, and management even threw in complimentary cheese sticks for my trouble .
