One thing Norman has done right for a long time is the food scene. We recently moved back after living in several other bigger cities like STL, KC, and Chicago. We have been coming here for a while not just for the food, but mostly for the memorable experience. Our last chef was so patient, kind, funny, and thoughtful. I love the show, but we were not blown away by the dinner. I feel like they use excessive salt and I almost couldn't eat it because of the salty taste of all the food. I also noticed the prices. For 6 people it cost us around 260$ for regular meals. That's a bit steep for this type of dinner.
I didn’t get our waitresses name to shout her out but she was magnificent. We ordered some dumplings to start with and they were some of the best dumplings compared to other restaurants. Both my boyfriend and I ordered the hibachi. Hibachi comes with soup & salad, shrimp, veggies, noodles and rice. Dressing on the salad was yummy and soup was also.
