We went to see one our favorite bands, but discovered they cancelled. We stayed and had a great dinner. Everything we had was way better than we imagined. Our server, Max, was the absolute best!! We plan to go back more often. Live bands Fri & Sat nights!! Everyone we talked to on the staff was great! Very comfortable atmosphere.

Mooney’s Pub and Grill ended up being exactly what I needed. The vibe in the place was just solid all around: relaxed, welcoming, and buzzing with good energy. It felt like everyone was there to just have a genuinely good time, which was refreshing.
The best part of the night, hands down, was the band playing, The Cöver Üp. I was honestly blown away. It did not feel like your typical bar band at all; it felt like walking into a full-on rock show. Huge sound, great stage presence, and they had the entire place absolutely hooked. Easily the highlight of my day.
If you are looking for a fun night out, grab a drink at Mooney’s and catch The Cöver Üp when they are playing. You will not regret it. I will definitely be back.

I've been through three owners at this place and I've loved it ever since. It has been through a lot of changes but still an amazing bar. When Sherry owned it she had the Sherry's tator.. somehow y'all have to keep that on the menu otherwise this place is dope.

I’m in Norman 3 weeks at a time every few months. And when I’m here I’m at Mooneys at least 4 nights a week. Not only is the food great. But the people that hang out there. I’ve met so many great people and made lots of friends. I’m from New York and there’s nothing like this place there.
But the best of it all. The bartenders. The friendliest I have ever met. Jenny is awesome. Cyera awesome. Sierra awesome. Holly awesome. Casadi is awesome. They are all awesome. They welcome me with open arms every time. Plus they love my accent. But I keep telling them. You guys have the accent, not me.
